The country superstar also talked to Ellen about his high hopes for his team on “The Voice” this season, and how he was once given weed in a paper bag early on in his career.

My late mother was so infatuated with Blake. She loved watching him on the voice. Long after she forgot us she remembered Blake. We'd play Voice reruns for her. She called him the cowboy. Miss you Mom.
