i have not had access to Mayco glazes. as my clay supplier does not cary your product except for stroke and coats. I started class recently and they carry your product so Ill pick them up there.
thank for the videos.
Very helpful
Thanks for the video! How did you create the wood-like pattern/texture on your test tiles?
I really enjoyed the video, and the tiles were excellent examples of different ways to use the product. I definitely would of liked to see the end result of the demo.
I know it's the new, sing song way of talking these days, but the narration got very hard to listen to after a while...
Thanks for a great informative video!! I love the dish with the copper wash under smoke! How many coats and where did you apply the layers? TYIA!

Super informative videos Carmen packed full of helpful content. 2 questions for you: 1. If I put 1-2 coats of the manganese wash (wiped back a little bit & on 04 bisque-ware) under 3 coats of stroke & coat on Laguna Bmix5 bisque to - fired to cone 5/6 will it be smooth or create that magma sort of texture?
2. What is the turquoise you put over the manganese wash in the bowl you showed? What a gorgeous combination! Was that then fired to Cone 6?
1. It will be smooth when a gloss glaze like stroke and coat is applied over.
2. SW-201 Turquoise and yes fired to cone 6. Project instructions here: www.maycocolors.com/projects/turquoise-and-wash-bowl/
@@MaycoColors Thanks for answering my questions so quickly! The link to the turquoise bowl says the project is private so I can’t open.
Try it now. Should work.
Is this used on bisque or greenware?
Nobody wants metallic on a clay body. The idea is to keep it natural
