- Since I am a DINAN super fanboy, I had to swap out my Borla and install this new unit from DINAN. It looks great and sounds good. I do wish it was a bit louder but it was easy to install thanks to the Tuner Motorsport kit that has all the hardware you might need depending on your application.

The E36 looks amazing. Personally, I think you should keep it at least a little bit longer to where you can enjoy it more before ultimately deciding on whether or not to give it away. Of course, I am biased, as I also have one.

Dinan E36 exhausts are available but built in batches - and the batches are almost always entirely backorders. Order it w/ ECS Tuning and be patient - they won't charge you until it's ready to ship. Dinan is like OEM+ for the E36. It's not super loud but sounds awesome w/ Dinan intake. Not too much drone or other annoying tones. Only thing I hate is the Dinan logo fades over years. If you're a-hole like me you can't deal w/ it. I've replaced mine twice since 2002 only because of logo fade. When guys come over to buy old ones and I tell them I'm only selling because of logo they think I'm nuts.

Yes, keep it! Way too much sweat equity in this gem to raffle it off.

Nice to see you are giving Bilt Hamber products a go, they really are awesome. Auto foam and Surfex HD are my go to snow foam and APC.
That topper...that's exactly what many of us experienced with Beadmaker. Loved that product when it worked but the streaks...and the dust. Whew.
OG Drying aid doesn't suffer the same.
Metal coat is one layer and the second layer is not required other than getting even coverage. It is a sheeting product so don’t expect it to bead. It will last a few months before it needs reapplication. The exhaust sounds good.
Astro Grip gloves have been the best disposable gloves that I’ve found. They don’t rip if you look at them the wrong way like other gloves I’ve used.

I think you might've given up on the Dream Maker a little too fast. You applied it pretty heavy and you might have some residue in your towels. I will grant you that it looks like a streaky mess on the first wipe, but a clean and dry FTW with methodical wiping should clear it up.
That said, I get it. When you have a product that works for you, sometimes it isn't worth the effort to try something else when you don't have the motivation to change.

A Dinan super fan would have the vortech setup and the wheels. I think you need them both.
It's great to be in your position to give things away of this magnitude. Must be amazing.
But putting this in a auction stating it's dedicated to a charity or a fund to help those in need, it would do very well.

Ive used the astrogrip gloves for years, they are great. I dont like the raven for cleaning because they are black and can hide the dirt on your hands.

Metal Coat is definitely a product for us crazies and I am absolutely going to try it out. Do you know if there is a curing time? I’m just wondering if an isopropyl alcohol wipe down will have any effect on the coating.

I’m not quite sure I understand the rationale here. You took a wonderful example of a stock car, modified it to your liking making it arguably less desirable and valuable, and are now giving it away? A car with no plans for the track receives Brembo brakes and Ohlins suspension with a Zionsville radiator? These were the dumb decisions we made in the early 2000’s trying to keep up with the E46. You are leaving this car worse than you found it man.

@@MikeGDetailing I disagree, it’s a bit finicky to work with and considering it’s only a gloss booster, why the effort? There are much easier products to use in this type of category, I don’t mind a bit off effort for some longer term protection.
