Liyue characters are almost always worth building except couple of exceptions
Shes so good I cant believe it....after reading her kit I was sure her bunny only procs every 2-3 seconds like we have seen in the past (Kuki E, Diona ult, Qiqi E) but no it actually attacks/heals every second...thats so insane if you build her correctly she can rival Kokomi healing, just with half burst half sustained heal. Another variant of the Nilou team would be Alhaitham+Nilou+Yelan/Xinqiu+Yaoyao which isnt as powerful as with Nahida (nothing is) but damn Alhaitham feels so fun and cool to use its kinda worth it and you still demolish everything
I love that Yaoyao's playstyle is basically press ult, panic jump around, heal everyone to full.
We have a literal panic button character now lmao.

CCP definitely play role in it. During zhongli release problem, CN players had threatened to report hoyoverse to CCP for unpatriotic conduct. I guess CCP had never let go of their hook on hoyoverse since then. Thats why its better to save for baizhu instead of going for haitam if you're looking for strength.

They really avoided EM scaling on Yaoyao's healing because they're afraid to have another Kuki Shinobu.

Yeah,imagine MHY actually making a good 4* again am i right? Seriously its no secret that 4* nowadays are made bad on purpose and frankly speaking i don't even think Kuki was planned to be as good as she is when she was made but MHY didn't realize at the time how good she'll be once Dendro is out cuz when she was created Sumeru and Dendro was only conceptualized not made,they'll definitley not gonna make another good 4* for a while and we'll probably get one good 4* once every 4-5 patches or even once per actual version like one in 2.x and another in 3.x and so on.
@@SHAdow98V you realize that kuki and yae were specifically designed for dendro, right? hyv knows what they're doing when they made those characters. you can't just go from 'conceptualizing' a new element to actually making it good in three patches. anyways yeah the quality of the newer 4*s are. pretty bad.
@@defan955 Kuki's heals come from HP and some from EM and since you build her EM because she is by far one of the most powerful and consistent Hyperbloom trigger, aside from Raiden, which scales off of EM and character level and Kuki's ascension is HP so all wins.
You don't need to build her into em anyway, unless you play nilou bloom

I’m putting her in national. I’m the kind who runs Kokomi with Zhongli after all. She’s going to heal with Qiqi

i think she still need cons at least C2 for solo dendro in quicken team. without C2 she force to run Fav lance and ER sand. if you have C2 you can have some slack with the weapon like free sumeru weapon that give atk buff. but if you play double dendro like Nahida Yaoyao then yea she wont have issue at all.
@@Kindi001 you don't need her burst that often for quicken team because her the quicken aura stays for pretty long time and the burst is only needed for emergency, I'm personally running moon piercer for my yae team
Yaoyao's burst healing is surprisingly good. Look forward to use her in Nilou team

I feel like the best thing about her when it comes to Nilou teams is the fact that she is downright the absolute best emergency healing character because her burst requires her to stay on field and jump like crazy but also gives her 50% dendro res so she heals everyone while taking less dmg from the cores too which reduces the chances of her dying from the cores accidentally while healing.
Btw she is not a Sumeru character she's Liyue but i get why you said it that way or why you consider her a Sumeru character afterall she came out in the Sumeru patch not before it so it does make sense.
I would love to get her but i won't risk getting Alkeqing and i already have Xiao so i will wait until Lantern Rite,i'm just glad she's not constelation dependant tbh it pisses me off to this day that Faruzan is useless unless she's goddamn C6,that's beyond predatory from MHY.
Can we appreciate in like 3 seconds, just how far hoyo showed yaoyao in almost *2 YEARS* man, time sure flies...

To be honest, I really like the way they design Yaoyao after seeing all new 4*. She can be used and built in many ways, like Tenacity, Deepwood carry or pure healing sup. I just think she would be better if she is a catalyst user.

Honestly I really appreciate we now got a Dendro healer. I'm not a fan of Barbara and I don't have Kokomi so I'm glad i don't have to use Babsi anymore and use Yelan for my Nilou now. In combination with Nahida and the 2 Hydro users YaoYao is a great unit for this Team ^^
Why not use Shinobu for cleaning

This is my hypothesis why they made her strong:
1. She is from Liyue, which represents China, a country with leaders that "care" if the characters that represent them are strong or weak.
2. Although she is just released recently, it's been 2 years since she was first introduced to the public (lantern rite pictures and leaks). They might have probably designed her kit long ago (times when Bennet, Xiangling, and Xinqui wer made) but decided to postpone her release due to a lack of actual plans for Dendro elements as a whole.
Obviously liyue character will become strong because developers are too chinese
one reason is that i think they delayed her release is because 2023 is the Chinese year of rabbit ( Chinese new year)

I really appreciate that this video had extra efforts spent to showcase the bunny and radish behaviors. Every scene went perfectly well with the explanation or joke dialogues.

Tenacity of the Milileth is also a really good set on her if you want to boost her healing and she can easily keep the 20% atk buff up with her skill

I have this theory that Yaoyao's kit was developed a long, long time ago since she was teased so long ago. And given she seems to fall under the "2nd generation" 4 star development logic i guess it adds up.
But in one of the dendro concept videos they said they didn’t know how to implement dendro into the game in the beginning.
@@Airitzu could very well be they made a kit without knowing how reactions would be triggered. her healing/dmg still functions very similar without reactions involved

I love how alhaitham was showcased with 4 star f2p demon umbrella, while yaoyao got the homa treatment, if only for a short time xC
Got her C2 during my al haitham pulls so I'm kinda glad I've got the C1 at least! After pulling for Scara it feels so great to not need Yaoyao to be C6 to be great (yes, I'm looking at you, Faruzan)

The nice thing about yaoyao, is the fact she is another skill healer (Barbara, Kokomi, Kuki, now Yao Yao) where they are less affected from lack of energy, Negative Electro buffs (energy loss), and since she doubles healing on both skill and burst, the healing is less affected by negative hydro buffs (CD increase) since you can stagger skill and burst.
If coop combat battles ever become a relevant thing, I could see people lining up to play Yaoyao

Glad she's good. Since I went all-in on Alhaitham I got 4 copies of Yaoyao and I'm trying to build a budget Hyperbloom team with Alhaitham, Xingqiu, Fischl, and Yaoyao.
Nahida driver, em raiden, xingqiu and yaoyao- my currently best hyperbloom team.
for someone who doesn't have kokomi but still want to use the masochistic suicidal nilou team, she's the one I've been waiting

First strong 4 star character since release of Sumeru and its a liyue character.
Just building YaoYao now. Nice to have another healer. Not sure if she will make my main team because I have Kokomi (usually with Ayaka for perma freezes) but looking forward to seeing how she performs
personally i suggest focus on ER, HP, and Dendro DMG. when time for emergency healing she will be beast, abd during normal fight she make sure hyper bloom is consistent, if you dont have nahida chase yao yao, idk ho but she just work well with aplying, healing, and support at the same time
This celebration is going out with a great start. New 5 star that isn't weak or a niche character unlike the other sumeru characters so far, Alheitham is actually strong.
A new strong four star that doesn't rely on constilations to be good. The best weapon banner ever in the 2nd phase same with one of, if not the best character banner in the 2nd phase.
I might be saving for the 2nd phase for hu Tao but when Alheitham reruns I'll be sure to get him knowing that he is good and fun to play with.
I thought hoyoverse forgot how to hold a celebration after the 2nd anniversary but it looks like I'm mistaken and I'm happy to be.

i'm definitely going to get her from lantern rite. i think she'd be good in my Yae aggravate team, then i could run gilded on Nahida and move deepwood to Yaoyao.
I was concerned that her burst ending when she leaves the field, combined with her low individual healing numbers, was gonna make her a sub par healer like Kuki. I was pleasantly surprised that she can heal all party members, on or off field. Small - medium healing numbers are much better when it's party wide.
I also really like that her constellations are not that game changing. A 4 star that is not completely reliant on constellations, unlike a certain anemo buffer/debuffer.
You're building your Kuki wrong. She's one of the best heal-tickers in the game.
@@drunkvader I use her for hyperbloom. There's like a 700 hps difference compared to a 4p maidens dedicated healer build. it's very unnoticeable. Kuki only has good skill uptime. Like, 3.1k healing compared to just slightly under 4k.
I only say she has sub par healing cuz she struggles on recovering from heavy damage and low hp and keeping the team alive from multiple stacks of corrosion. She's still good, it just gets dodgy at times.
@@drunkvader Additionally, building Kuki as a dedicated healer gives your team less utility than a 4p tenacity superconduct or 4p GG/paradise hyperbloom support build. You are not missing much healing either since it basically feels the same in practice. It's like the difference between 4p maidens and 4p clam on Kokomi, feels exactly the same on the healing department but clam brings frequent aoe damage to the table, good damage too.

Ok, I'm sold. Yao Yao is my Latter right 4 star choice.
You know the crazy thing here is they may release a character to synerguze very well with her burst. In burst mode she's basically a machine gun. Spewing radishes like crazy. So having a hydro healer that applies hydro fast enough while healing can cause crazy amounts of explosions. Even in a burgeon team she can be used to have a ton of dendro cores spawn and then go nuts with your Pyro unit to blow it all up.
Also that free weapon from the mondstadt festival actually works very well with her if you have Candace. You'll trigger bloom reaction. And also gain an atk and EM boost. Which is a win win.
Perfect, already got C1. Now to save for Deyha 😐
I wanted a team with Childe, Yanfei or Thoma and Kazuha but I wanted to see dendro reactions as well so i decided to go for a dendro healer and the same day, Yaoyao released, since I don't like kid characters i thought this was a disappoinment but now looking at her I can say she's pretty good
In the far future, if we get a Dendro infusion character like Chongyun, Candace, or C6 Bennet, Yaoyao might get better cause polearm characters have 0.5s ICD on charged attacks right?
Is it possible that each yuegui she summons on her burst has their own ICD, therefore the weird 6 reactions you made? It might be possible that there is an optimized timing for jumping when you're on her burst mode

I needed 3 Yunjins to hit c6 (for my Wanderer teams). Only wanted to spend 30 wishes to get to pity (for Yelan since here 4 start units are all gonna be old units that are already c6'd). Got there and picked up a Yaoyao along the way. Will pick up c1 from the event, and am pretty excited to try her out. Still might lose my 50/50 on Yelan, I hope I don't though. Really want to push my Hu Tao damage through the roof with double hydro.

Managed to grab her on the second wish. I've managed to take on enemies six levels above her and have it feel like it's the other way around.

yeah.... I was thinking to use her instead of DMC on a Raiden + Fischl + Sucrose team, since i'm using the healing book on Sucrose for now, but that dendro application seems very... weird... I guess i will keep Sucrose with the healing book till i get Nahida 😅
FINALLY a healer I can use in my Tighnari/Ayato/Fischl team without wasting Kokomi for the other team!
I have one question : is she redundant in a Nilou bloom team with Kokomi ? I run Nilou with Kokomi, Nahida and the 4th spot is either Collei or Dendro traveler but I put one of them only for the dendro resonance otherwise I don’t switch to them.

Yaoyao is 2nd or 3rd place for me when i rank the recent patch 4stars, Under Layla. Her shield and Physically damage kicks ass in my current team of her, Barbara, Shogun and Nahida.

In my experience the full EM yaoyao build heals enough, I’ve been using her with Nilou Nahida and Yelan and even with 28k HP she’s keeping my team alive
I actually dont mind even if she can't deal such a dmg. What i need is a little help of dendro application (since im gonna use alhaitham as my main), her heal, and her cuteness. That's enough for me
It kinda sucks how her burst doesn’t stay when you switch like Xiangling does.
