Told you, episode six and seven are the best. Also, the hallucination part is about their deepest fears and innermost thoughts, it is basically what they suppress about themselves.
This show keeps surprising us with different tones for episodes. Love it 😍🤩
yes, Blitzo is afraid to get close to anybody so he push everyone away, the golden shackles Stolas holds show it quite well while Moxxie just craves to be acknowledged but have inferiority complex - while paradoxically he has loving wife and perfect relationship.
The reasons why they are the way they are are explored later on in new episodes, and in case some people did not see them I won't spoil

This is the episode where you realize Stolas is royalty for a reason.
Facts 😯😈😀
"What's the matter, demon hunter? Never seen a REAL demon before?"
That is probably one of my favorite lines in the show. It almost feels like he's talking to us as well in a sense. Up until this point we've had demons like Loona and the Imps, who seem rather fragile all things considered, as well as the succubi/inccubi(Verosika and her friends) who are probably similar to the Imps in that they're demons, but they aren't really all that powerful.
Really, the only Demon we've seen look demonic before now would be the Radio Demon, but he's still a sinner and therefore not much higher on the totem pole than the Imps and whatnot, from what we've been shown even his more demonic look remains vaguely humanoid.
Stolas however, is demon royalty. A mere Prince perhaps, but still a member of the Ars Goetia, and that makes him the only real demon we've met that isn't Charlie, and she's too pacifistic to actually use whatever power she actually has, so in terms of how powerful and terrifying a demon can be, Stolas is our best bet.
And uh... Yeah, first demonstration did not disappoint. The only thing that would have made it more impactful for me would be if Stolas actually just killed Agent 1 and 2 instead of just scaring them.
Speaking of, gotta actually give a shout out to the fortitude of those two. They bounced back from that hella quick. Most people would probably shut down after experiencing something like that.
Yeah was kind of surprised that they bounced back so quickly tbh. And agree that line was perfect. Definitely stuck out 😈😁
In terms of order of strength or power on the demonic planes, Hellhounds like Loona are considered to be the lowest tier level of demons, followed in succession by Imps, like Blitzø, Millie, Moxxie, and Striker on the 2nd lowest tier. Then on the third tier above that are Succubi and Incubi like Verosika and her posse. They apparently are only marginally more powerful than Imps, even though they do rank higher in social status than Blitzø and his crew. The difference in the power gap between Hellhounds, Imps and Succubi, and a Goetic Demon Prince like Stolas is comparable to the power between a magazine clip of 9mm parabellum bullets, and a 100 Giga-ton nuclear bomb, respectively speaking. 😅😅😅
As for the other "boss" characters in the Helluva Boss universe, though we have yet to meet him as more than a background or picture cameo character so far, there is Lucifer, Charlie's father and head-honcho of hell that we've seen pictures of so far. Then there's Asmodeus who is the boss of the Lust Ring of Hell, that we meet in Loo-Loo Landon the Greed Ring, and we see pictures of Mammon, the boss of the Greed Ring all over the various businesses of the Greed Ring. These are at least some of the other major Demons of Hell that we've met in some manner or other.
Actually, Alastor is way stronger than your run of the mill Sinner. He's at least as powerful as the remaining Overlords in purgatory.
Of course, still not nearly as strong as any form of Demon Royalty or above. Stolas is still definitively stronger, but Alastor *_IS_* actually quite powerful for being human once.
I think from what I've read Stolas is among the more peaceful demon princes so, him choosing to spare the agents, THIS TIME, feels kind of in keeping with the character.
Makes you wonder about luu luu
And here we see exactly what makes Stolas a Demon Prince. I love how, even though the Imps and Loona are in the room, he refers to himself as a "Real demon", just to properly drill in how out of their league the D.H.O.R.K.S were
😈😁
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Well, none of the I.M.P. folks /are/ demons. It's three imps and a hellhound. As shown in Ep. 5, Imps are just the foot soldiers and worker drones of Hell. Our three assassins are exceptions, as well as exceptionally skilled but still not actual demons.
@@valashar5313 I mean, they are still demons. They're very low-ranked demons, but very much so still demons. They aren't the kind we saw most of in Hazbin, who are human souls sent to hell, but all denizens of hell are demonic by nature, unless there's some Canon info I've just missed either in the show or via Word of God, which is always possible, in which case, could you point me to it?
@@valashar5313
They are "actual" demons, just not high ranking ones.
If anything., it's the sinners who aren't actual demons since they aren't hellborn but rather, the souls of dead humans.
Well Imps are USUALLY considered Lesser Demons in most things. Stolas' astral body is pretty scary, kinda like his dad's.
NOTES:
> 9:30 In Blitzo's hallucination, it is disorganized, messy, and ugly. This is how Blitzo sees himself in his mind.
> Note the clothes of Blitzo, a clown costume, sure he worked as a circus performer before, but what if Blitzo sees himself as a bad joke or a clown in real life?
> 10:10 Remember that sound I said in ep3? Where Blitzo was trying to tune out all the things that he doesn't want to hear.
> 10:46 Striker, Fizzaroli, Verosika, and Stolas in Blitzo's bad trip are people of interest to Blitzo. Striker is an interest as he is the one that planted the seeds of doubt as seen in ep.5. Fizzaroli is an interest as he is most likely the instigator of Bltzo's trauma, if you observe, Fizzaroli is drawn like those old Micky mouse cartoons, meaning that he's the oldest form of memory and oldest form of trauma. That and paired with the fact that the interaction between Blitzo and RoboFizz in Ep.2, really shows some form of relationship between Blitzo and the actual Fizzaroli. Verosika is an interest as she is the latest "functional" relationship that Blitzo had before Stolas. When compared to the other two, Verosika is "dirtier" looking or more "tainted", this is how Blizo sees her, because he knows that it's his fault.
> 11:00 What Verosika says is what Blitzo thinks she thinks about him. If you focus enough, Blitzo is the one talking as Verosikas voice, along with the other characters.
> As Verosika has said, Blitzo seems to push away people who might get too close to him. This is most likely due to his trauma, so he deflects and blames it on others to the point they resent him. And as we have seen, Blitzo is keeping Stolas at arm's length as he focuses more on the bad aspects of Stolas, finding more self-made reasons to push Stolas back to not get overly close and attached.
> 11:17 Stolas on top of the stairs, Blitzo, like what Moxxie said, craves affection, Stolas being on the top of the elevated stairs means that Stolas is Blitzo's way of escaping the mess that he is.
> Also the two silhouettes beside the sitting Stolas is also Blitzo
> Blitzo, before going up the stairs, was dropped on by some gooey stuff, which could indicate how dirty he feels, emotionally. And by climbing the stairs to Stolas, he believes that I would clean him from all his tainted thoughts and bad experiences, some of which he caused
> The chains that wrap around Blitzo could signify his slavered reliance on Stolas. The book is what keeps them together. If Stolas doesn't want him anymore, he could just take the book and be done with Blitzo
> 16:07 The reason why Blitzo adopted Loona, from what I think, is that Blitzo craves intimacy, but in this case, parental intimacy. He’s giving Loona something that he didn’t have, a loving and caring father. But what about Blitzo's mom? More on that on the next episode
> 19:08 The summoning circle that the dead agents drew to summon Stolas is a Biblically accurate summoning circle from The Lesser Key of Solomon.
> Stolas can't actually hurt the humans as he is restricted by the rules of the summon. Summoned demons can not hurt their summoner, that's why Agent 2 is still fine. That and Stolas is canonically a pacifist and rarely uses force or goes to violence. Or so speculations say.
> Dogs do in fact can not see red as they are red/green colorblind, or something along those lines. It's dark and theres red light, so Loona is probably seeing a lot of dark grays and can't read properly.
Personal thoughts:
> All in all, this episode somewhat explores the trauma, problems, and personal hell of Blitzo
> This is how Blitzo copes with his problems. He makes rude jokes, he becomes rude to others so much that they would "hate" him. Blitzo has built a wall around himself to protect himself from being hurt anymore. And anyone who tries to enter, he rudely shoves away, even those who want to help him or care for him, ie. Verosika. Right now, it would seem that he has some sort of feelings for Stolas, but if he were to go over the wall, he would leave himself vulnerable to attacks, so it is most likely in his attention to just protect himself and save himself the trouble.
> Blitzo seems to crave intimacy and hopes to be with Stolas, but he can't see himself as being an equal partner with the Prince overall, no matter what their 'activities' are like.
> Apparently Blitzo also wants to have recognition, he wants people to respect him, that's why he started his own business.
Again, might be missing some stuff.
You missed how when the agents view Blitz’z first sighting, he’s breaking into a horse ranch, cause of you remember, he has an unhealthy horse fetish
@@radiogobrrrrrrr1949 I don't think it's a fetish, yea they ARE in hell but it seems more like admiration or obsession. Blitz never looks attracted to a horse, he just seems to admire them
Very interesting that Stolas was restricted by the summoning. Although Blitz and the gang should’ve taken them out. No witnesses. Even crazy ones. Especially crazy ones. 😝
And Loona was filming that with her phone, but also got scared :P
19:14 the circle is the actual sigil for summoning Stolas in the Ars Goetia, kinda suprised they made it correct
Nice attention to detail 🤩😈
Honestly, one of the best episodes in my opinion, and with each episode you react comes more and more details!
When the agents are viewing I.M.P sightings, the apparent “first sightings” were of Blitz breaking into a horse ranch
If you recall, Stolas needs the book to get to earth, but the I.M.Ps already had it, some say this is a plot hole but if you look closely, Stolas actually possessed the corpses and used their blood to draw his summoning emblem
Stolas is not even the strongest character in the Helluva Boss universe, he’s actually outranked by a couple of other characters in Helluva Boss’s sister series Hazbin Hotel (which you should definitely check out some time)
Blitz has relationship issues and he seems to be unable to maintain a healthy relationship, he’s hard on Moxxie because he’s actually intimidated by how much smarter he is than him and everytime Moxxie screws up, to Blitz it’s a reflection that he doesn’t give good enough orders and is a terrible boss
Stolas said the if the Imps get in trouble, he’ll get in trouble. This is a reminder that their business is kinda illegal as Hell is extremely overpopulated and adding to the numbers doesn’t help, not to mention Stolas isn’t meant to be sleeping with Imps, as they are seen as the lowest of the low, just outranking Hell hounds, as while Stolas is Demon royalty, hence why his wife wants him dead
I am curious who in Hazbin Hotel outranks Stolas in strength, very obviously Charlie but I have seen a lot of people just stating that Alastor is a stronger demon, if I recall correctly though Vivzie herself has stated that this isn't true and it's even listed on the Helluva/Hazbin Wiki page for Stolas under the Trivia section, now it's possible that Vivzie might have said that while being caught out on the spot or something but it's an interesting point imo, although I am assuming that we probably won't know the answer to that any time soon as Hazbin and Helluva from what I've heard can no longer be considered sister shows since Hazbin got picked up for syndication
In terms of rank I think only Charlie is higher than him in Hazbin, unless you count Lucifer and other characters mentioned but not seen in action.
He's on the third tier from the top of the hierarchy, with Lucifer being at the top, being the ruler of the highest ring of sin and all of hell, would assume Lilith and Charlie share this spot by association. Then there's the Kings of the Ars Goetia, like Azmodeus (Ozzy), rulers of the other 6 rings. After that there's the demon princes of the Ars Goetia, like Stolas. And finally of the truly powerful there's the non-royalty Overlords like Alastor and the rest warring over control of areas of the various rings.
We do plan to check out Hazbin Hotel as well. A way to feed our addiction until the finale part 2 comes out for Helluva Boss 😅
Yep, even if you consider all the Goetias to be on the same rank (though I get the feeling some, or many, Goetias look down upon Stolas), then there's still 10 people that outrank him. That said, having only 10 people outrank you in a society with probably millions of people is not a bad rank to have.
@@PastelFurry Alastor isn't as strong as stolas, the 7 princes (including Lucifer) and Charlie outrank him.
It was nice to see that Moxxie called Blitz by his name since he usually calls him sir. He's a respectful person
Moxxie; “You’re thoughtless and cruel and you’ll end up alone!”
That smash cut to Blitz’s eye shows the horror he’s experiencing at that moment, and will be paid off in EP 7 (no spoilers), Blitz’s relationship issues have been hinted at since the pilot episode (where he refers to IMP as a ‘family’)
Once you finally
After you watch Ep 7, go back and rewatch the series from the pilot forward, and pay particular attention to Blitz and the whole relationships thing…
😎👍🙂 Poor Blitz 😢
Episode 6 is my absolute favourite episode of the season so far.
😎🤟🤩
Doesn't really hit till now that Stolas is a deamon prince and is actually scary since we only real hang out with the lesser deamons.
Yup. Quick reminder that these are demons from hell (and imps) 😯
Don't get confused by this: The hallucinations that Moxxie and Blitz had was a representation of their own feelings, that was important for the audience to understand, but they don't know what the other saw and felt.
Blitz is incredibly lonely and jealous of Moxxie's relationship with Millie and Moxxie is afraid of rejection.
To me, this is the best episode so far:
-the insight on the character is done masterfully and in a really enjoyable way
-the musical part was gorgeous and meaningful (shout out to the studios hired specifically to give the two trips a completely different yet recognizable style to fit with how Moxxie and Blitz(o) mindscape would appear like)
-the action sequence is unbelievable! The dynamism, the tridimensionality, the different battle-styles... a true gift.
-Stolas... just... Stolas. Btw, the seal the corpse possessed by Stolas are drawing it the actual demonic seal for Stolas in the real life Ars Goetia.
Fun fact, this came out last year the day of my birthday... can you imagine how stoked I was for this gift?
Nice birthday gift! 🥳🥳 Also love the “just….Stolas” ☺️😈😁
It is so cute when Loona grab Millie and put her into the bag.
☺️
Like how when it focuses on Millie fighting it has the old western whistle happen with the music since she was from the country.
A nice touch indeed 🤠
Agent One: "Who you gonna call?"
Blitz: "Your fat mom, thanking her for a fat time!"
Agent Two: "Nice try demon, his fat mom is DEAD!"
Blitz: "I know, she is in hell s*cking *ocks :P
😂
This episode’s a great example of wonderful animation and character development.
It is also a reminder that Stolas is a DEMON in the original sense, as shown at the end.
Yup 😳😨
The "now who wants some quality time with daddy?" line always makes me smile. I gotta say, fun to watch these two looking so wholesome grinning just as big as me at that line. It's just nice to see Blitzo happy.
It’s great seeing Blitz happy. Because seems like he fakes it most of the time 😢
This is one of my favorites. Episode 2 brought the feels, episode 5 brought the seriousness, and this one brought them both back for some character development with Blitz and character growth with Moxxie. (Although it was more Blitz focused, since even Moxxie's trip was partly about how Blitz shoves his friends away)
I'm SUPER excited for you to see episode 7, it's pretty much what all this character building has been leading up to
And this also brought the scary/spooky vibes 😀
we need more character development for Luna and _especially_ Millie
This was probably my favorite episode of helluva boss, it’s got all the elements , humor, horniness, horror, violence lots of it
Yup 😁🤩
I think the coolest part i enjoy about this series and universe is all the demons, especially the royalty are based on actual Biblical Demons. For example Stolas is apart of the Goetia Family of Demons and is a Prince who oversees Plants and Stars. Which is why he has lots of Plants in his home from Episode 2 as well as traveling to space and showing planets. You may see more later. 😉
Hadn’t known that til people told us on this episode. Very cool the creators took the time to research all this 😀😈
During my time watching this episode, it was a long time waiting for it when it aired. Being around 3 months of wait and being worth the wait since this episode gotten picked up from a professional animation studio that Viziepop team partnered up. 😌 Also it shows off trauma that Blitz is facing being alone and want someone near him to feel better. Till the end he see Stolas being mighty and love glance in his eyes shining over demon version Stolas. With that said, in the book, there is a text that read on how to “Summon a demon” just pause the video and you can see it say “Tap on book to summon” So Loona must done something to make Stolas come to the human surface our there.
Stolas was able to come to the human realm because he possessed the humans in the room and had them draw some kind of array on the ground in their blood and once activated he was summoned.
Poor Blitz 😢
Your right but there is something more on how Stolas got there.
Yeah as blitz just need love and support
@@quest9905 the symbol that the agents drew were stolas summoning circle, i believe its the actual symbol of ars goetia, without his book, stolas wouldnt of been able to come to the human world but was summoned my his symbol.
The summoning circle/rune that summoned Stolas is his actual sigil taken from real-world lore. The detail they go for in this show is nuts sometimes.
😯
Perfect timing I'm up late bored and now I have something to watch lol
Lol same
Haha, wasn’t meant to post this late but guess forget to schedule the usual time 🤗
this is the episode that made me realize this show is really something special! i can’t wait to see where it goes in season 2!
Glad it’s not too far away and has already been announced 😀
Easily the best episode so far. The animation, the phantom of the opera, just beautiful.
They had to use 2 animation studios to make this episode, which helps explain the change in style. But the end result speaks for itself.
That "So first of all -- FUCK YOU!!" at 9:20 from Moxxie was just a thing of beauty. I replayed just that moment on repeat with a tear in my eyes, it's so beautiful.
The accuracy to animal behaviour on this is so beautiful as well. Like when Blitz went to kiss Loona, she raised her lips and growled, like canines often do when you kiss them like that.
Another example of animal accuracy is how Stolas flares his feathers, literally at the end. This is something that Owls do in nature.
Again some caste system commentary of how Blitz has internalized his low status referring to the IMP gang as "Demon scum" and also Stolas once again talking down on them by referring to them as "Impish plaything" and "You little ones".
Also, while Stolas appears to be able to portal himself anywhere, he can only manifest on Earth with his book, or by being summoned by a mortal. Hence he had to possess some of the said mortals to summon himself. This suggests that the book is more a matter of convenience to him rather than a strict necessity.
Hmm. So Stolas could come to earth through possession whenever he wants? 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Probably, though I'm sure that would attract a lot of unwanted attention if he just did it all the time.
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Precisely what IceMetalPunk said. Remember in the Spring Break episode how the Succubi group would've gotten in trouble with Satan if Blitz would've tattle-taled on them about the sea monster?
It seems like hell beings presence on Earth is highly looked down upon.
Major character development. this was a great episode. You ever notice the trend with each episode. Looks as if they are introducing more and more enemies towards I.M.P.
Yeah they are certainly stacking the deck for what we imagine will be season 2 fights 🙂
I just realise.. The fantasic Erica Lindbeck (Loona) also is the voice of Black Cat in Marvel Spider Man you two have played.
Oh nice! The name (and voice) sounded familiar. Two great roles 😀
How would the agents react if someone told them why they kill humans?
"Have you ever heard of hitmen? Well, that's their job; if you end up in hell and it was unfair, you give them info about the target."
I love this Episode, by far the best Helluva Boss Episode in my opinion!
Truth Seekers has it all: humor, music, emotions, violence, a bit of horror and the best animation out of all the episodes? And it's the longest out of them!
How can't you love this episode?
Same people that don’t love puppies 😜
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 You spelled "monsters" wrong.
Can't wait for season 2, though bummed they had to skip the last episode of the season.. hope it all works out!
Just heard about that! 😢 hopefully they can work out the problem
Well, I hadn't heard about this, but I just looked it up... I don't know how I feel. On the one hand, skipping a season finale feels like it could really throw off the character growth. On the other hand, in the announcement Vivzie assured everyone that the finale was mostly just a big showy finale without much narrative, and all the character growth was in episode 7 and season 2, so... I'll trust her on this. Can't wait for July 30th!
18:25 - That is a prime example of why one should not incur the wrath of a goetian demon lord
Yup 😨😱
Hands down the best episode of the season.
On a side note, have you noticed that Stolas looks directly into the camera when Agent One and Two are reviewing the footage? Maybe he prepared the whole situation, or he's looking at some politician that owes him a favor so he gets the message and calls out the footage as a hoax.... in any case, it looks like Stolas is up to something
Nice spot. Hadn’t noticed that, but an interesting theory 😀
to anyone that actually orders coffee like that, i wish you a very unpleasant evening

I don't know about you guys, but I could watch Loona slaughter everybody for hours upon hours and never get tired of it.

I have been waiting for this review. I love the upgrade to the fight scenes. Now there is only one left till the second season that starts the end of this month. GIVE US A THRUST IN THE HOUSE OF ASMODAIOUS!
So it’s confirmed the next episode comes out at end of the month? 😀
End of *next* month. July 30th.
@@IceMetalPunk yah I sent them a link to the Twitter about it and saying sorry about meaning next month
Or at least thought I did
Fun fact: The lady agent is actually voiced by Erica Luttrell who also voices Bangalore in Apex Legends
😀 nice fun fact
This is arguably the second best episode next to the season finale…it’s just so beautiful.
😀🤩
You might be wondering why Stolas didn't simply kill the human agents. When he summoned himself to the mortal plane using his Goetia seal, it served as protection for the mortals.
A powerful demon like Stolas requires considerable magic to enter our plane. So, by using the sigil that represents him when summoning, it serves as a sort of... safeguard, you could call it. So long as the seal remains intact, he cannot physically harm anyone in the mortal plane. Like the circle of salt that was used in an early episode of Ash vs Evil Dead.
Oh, and this episode merely marked where the emotional walls are. Next one is where the sledgehammer starts taking some swings.
Thanks for clearing that up as to the rules of the universe that we weren’t aware of 🙂
I love that stolas makes the dead draw a pentagram in their blood so he can travel to blitz ❤❤
You know, right up until you see episodes like this where you can see them next to humans its easy to forget how TINY Blitzo and the rest of the imps really are.
I love your videos very much, they amuse me too much. Greetings from Chile ✨❤️❤️❤️✨
Glad you enjoy them 🇨🇱 🤗😊🍾🥂🥳
One extra thing. The pentagram that they drew on the ground to summon Stolas is the ACTUAL pentagram for Stolas in the demon encyclopedia (can’t remember what it’s called). Many demons have their own personal pentagrams
That’s some good research by writers 😈😀
Not pentagram, but sigil (pentagram being just a name for 5 pointed star drawn in a continuous line). But yeah, it's an actual sigil from Lesser key of Solomon.
What we all see written on the ground there is a Summoning Sigil that is particular to the Goetic Demon Prince Stolas himself. Written incorrectly and you will either fail to summon Stolas, or you may summon a completely different demon altogether; written improperly without prerequisite shield layers and protection fail-safes in place, and the summoning can go wrong, in the sense that Stolas may be given free reign in Mid-guard, after he kills his summoner and harvests the poor sod's soul for his own purposes. Given that he IS a Demon Prince of one of the primary rings of Hell, he is also a very high level and incredibly powerful, ancient or even primordial demon indeed. 🔥 🔥😈😈 🔥🔥
Steadholder, he seems friendly to me tho. I doubt he would be that mean if you summoned him
@@crimsonknight7011 Though, that would depend on When he was summoned, wouldn't it? I can imagine he wouldn't be terribly pleased with a summoner if he got summoned.... right when he was having a particularly.... interesting session with say, Blitzø now and he was just about to get the Big Pay-off, would he? 😂😂
Fun fact, this is the only episode (so far at least) where Stolas "Fuck" is not beeped out.
Possibly indicating he is actually self-censoring most of the time.
He is, and I love that this is the only time he's dead serious
Nice fun fact 😀
Have you seen the teaser for season 2? It shows Stolas as a kid holding the grimoire (the book). He's freaking adorable haha.
Haven’t seen it yet 😯😀
This episode had some of the best animation, the best fight choreography, amazing music, and baddest Trip of the show so far. Y'all should take another look and see how the quality has improved as well!
Yeah the whole series deserves another look 🙂
Fun Fact: in this Episode during the Hallucination scenes in Blitz's Hallucination it's basically showing his current mental state
Can’t wait to see your reaction to Episode 7!!! 🫡
😁🥳 Happy to hear we won’t have to wait long for Season 2 😀
All the chaos makes remember moxys voice actor also voices poxy in destroy all humans
Just noticed this but when Stolas arrives the music parodies his song that we hear in season 2. So much attention to detail
i really can't wait for you both to see episode 7, the musical number and the emotions in it top everything else in this season. Season 2 is also premiering on the 30th! and i am so excited to see it.
Glad season 2 is right around the corner 😀
1 more to go till the finale and then S2!
😁
Many of these great music and songs in this were first takes and the animation is truly amazing and it must be incredibly expensive for sure.
Damn. First take? 😯
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Not all, but the music numbers yeah mostly. Richard Horowitz is majored in musical numbers and acting
I find it funny that Loona said she couldn’t read the book in that light. The one person that has her cell phone at all times and should have a flashlight mode on it.
Good point 😆
Hey if you guys are planning on checking out more Team Fortress 2 in the future, I'd recommend the Winglet's SFM videos, they recently re-did their The Red, the Blu, and the Ugly video and it's genuinely one of their best work, I'd love to see you guys react to their Animations!
We had planned to check that out. The Fedora chronicles right? 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Yup, even though the first animations aren't as good as the most recent ones of his, I'd still say to give it a watch since it builds up to the finale! Of which as I mentioned they recently re-released an improved version of The Red, the Blu and the Ugly animation it's really good.
One of my favorite Songs from this Series.
Actually if you listen carefully to the music in the background when scary Stolas comes out, it is the music to the song he sings in season two episode one
"His fat mom... is DEAD!"
"I know. Where d'ya think she ended up?"
Missed opportunity...
😜
There were footprints on the ceilling when Millie shows up.. O.o some SCP shit was going on there
😁 👻 nice catch. We have to rewatch these to see what we pick up on 🙂

fun fact: Millie is canonincally a meele weapon specialist, while Moxxie is a Gun Nut
I really do like this episode also you get to see Loona fighting in both forms, Stolas’s unique abilities are petrification, telekinesis, possession, reanimation, and demon transformation also when Blitz took a selfie with a decapitated head his phone says Thot Patrol

A bit late, but the two hallucination scenes can be expanded upon a bit.
Moxxie's scene is the more straight forward of the two, and we see direct parallels between the style switch for this bit and the Disney animations of the 90's and early 00's, Beauty and the Beast being the most direct analogy.
This actually makes the imagery from Blitz's scene even more interesting IMO, as the animation style is drawn from the Fleischer Films productions from the 1920's-40's. They were in direct competition with Disney at the time, and had such properties as Popeye, Betty Boop, and even the early Superman adaptations under their banner.
Ultimately, they lost out to Disney, who managed to pivot into full length feature films, starting with Snow White; something that Fleischer never managed to pull off.
Another bit of trivia is that Blitzo's outfit in his hallucination is very similar to the costume used by the actor playing Canio in the opera Pagliacci. Probably one of the most famous clowns in history.
Thanks for the info on that imagery 😀
19:22 I still love how Loona records this on her phone
😆
To answer your question about Moxxie and Blitzø’s hallucinations, you were write about Phantom of the Opera for Mox.
As for Blitz, a lot of folk believe his is based on the Trial section of Pink Floyd’s The Wall, where a bunch people the protagonist knows give him a massive “reason you suck” speech in the form of gooey monsters.
Great reaction btw, and I can’t wait to see you guys watch Ozzie’s
Ah, okay. Been so long since I’ve seen the Wall didn’t pick up on that 🙂
Ya my favorite episode ☺️✌️❤️
Seems like this is a popular one for sure 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 ya because of the great music 🎶❤️✌️😚☺️
So just one thing up front that is good information. So the next episode is number 7 and is supposed to be the season finale part 1, Vivzie put up a tweet yesterday that while episode 8 so the 2nd part of the finale is done it seems to be having some issues with being released (speculation is legal issues) however she also stated that the 2nd part can be skipped so they are jumping straight into season 2 with the first episode premiering on July 30th.
Now as for my thoughts on this episode. This is absolutely in my top 3 because of the amount of subtle character clues that are in this episode. So Moxxie when tripping sees what is pretty much the phantom of the opera but you ended up asking what Blitz is seeing, so my interpretation is that his trip is supposed to give off vibes of something like Pink Floyd's The Wall, while that is not a perfect analogy the visuals are trippy enough and if you know anything about the story running through Pink Floyds The Wall album then a lot of those points are actually pretty common with Blitz. Some things that tips us of to how he really feels is that everyone that shows up in his trip is berating him telling him what a failure he is. The only one that at first glance doesn't seem to berate him is Stolas who shows up at the top of a golden staircase giving us a hint that Blitz might think of Stolas as some pure and almost angelic presence in his life, that does seem to be shattered a bit though as when he reaches the top he gets chained to a chain that Stolas is holding most likely hinting at part of his feelings for Stolas himself, what I personally get out of that is that Blitz has very mixed feeling about Stolas. And near the end of his bad trip the voices keep chanting "You're gonna die alone" and for a few seconds we can actually see Blitz looking sorta terrified.
Now another fun little observation is that after their battle with the D.H.O.R.K.S ends and they get trapped literally up against the wall as Agent #1 & #2 are closing in Blitz actually puts up his arms as if to protect the others who are now effectively standing behind him.
And lastly we have Stolas's entrance which no joke actually creeped me out the first time I saw it and I'm an avid horror movie watcher and not a lot bothers me, but for some reason Stolas just got very intimidating, and that's the point Stolas most likely does all this showing off for Blitz, he is showing off and that is probably why he doesn't end up actually harming Agent #1 & #2 now this could be rather interesting as while Stolas is a prince of hell he obviously has quite the abilities but I have heard that Stolas is based on an actual demon from a religious text and his whole "family" the ars goetia is based on a kind of owl demon that if I recall actually taught humans astronomy and they are also described in that text as "non-violent". Now that doesn't mean that I believe that Stolas won't hurt people but I am guessing that him actively harming anyone would be his absolute last resort reserved for if any of his loved ones get harmed.
So once again sorry for the wall of text, really really waiting for you both to react to episode 7, my absolute personal favorite episode of the show so far.
Bummer they are having issues with the next episode 😢 but glad that we are at least getting something soon 😀
That episode was THE gamechanger. Now it is getting serious.. "When you get in trouble.. I get in trouble" ... The Cherubs probably join forces with DHORKS and sneak there way into hell and tell Lucifer all about this..
"So.. some little Imps are responsable for trouble on earth.. We don't like that" ... But even without Lucifer or anyone else of the 7 deadly sins, this means trouble for everybody in hell we know and love
You think the Dhorks would team up with a supernatural being? Seems like they would try to capture a cherub 👼 🤔
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Also possible, but what if they promise to let they enter heaven when the natural death comes? Also both fractions have reasons to kill Blitz and his friends... Favors for Favors
Good news S2 of Helluva Boss this July 30th!!!
Hell yeah! 🥳🥳🥳🍾🥂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Indeed and though ep 8 is pushed its just after the S2 Premire!
Don’t know if you noticed, but during Blitzø’s hallucination Moxxie is drawn in Blitzø’s art style
Best episode in my opinion because it had some of the best fight scenes to date. This is perhaps why it took so long for this episode to come out because the animation is so good and fluid. I do enjoy a good story but sometimes I like to get down and just watch an awesome fight scene
Yup. Gotta mix it up and glad they got another studio to help with this one 😀
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 And another thing.... never bring Edo era Japanese weapons to a melee fight with demons that are fully armed with blades and guns alike..... but I surely bet if even D.H.O.R.K.S had guns themselves, they would still likely get slaughtered (Albeit in a less one sided sense).
I was so bored last night I fell asleep at a human time. So now I'm up super early so thank god this is out cause I am NOT a morning person.
😂 we hadn’t planned for it to be released late (or early). But glad it helped your early morning 😊
I am writing this to help out ken and Bethany and this video and this channel with the algorithm ✌️❤️😚☺️
Thank you! 🥰🥳🥳
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 no thank you Ken and Bethany ❤️✌️😚☺️
glad you guys loved it, but it sucks to be you two, one more ep and you'll have to wait like the rest of us lol.
😂 Noooooo!!!!!! 😢😢😢😭
Do feel bad for Blitz. As his hallucination stated, he can’t fathom proper intimacy but also craves it as well. This is probably why he stalks Moxxie and Millie because he sees how wholesome their relationship is and he truly wishes he had a relationship like that.
😢
me encantan sus reacciones :D le doy mi like
Please react to “Fuelled” it’s a short animation film and it has a huge moral, it will make you both cry I promise.
New request to add to our list 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 thank you for replying 😀
Epic. That was epic
😁😎🤟🤗
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 yes 🤘
16:21 this scene really reminds me of Quentin Tarantino's movie called Kill Bill & 16:46 this scene is like a Hong Kong action movie like all of John Woo's movies.
I can see the Kill Bill vibes 🙂
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 now that's what's up
Let's get it 😁 thax
😎🤟
Yes! one of My favorites. really showcases Stolas' power. People forget Stolas is one of the princes of hell.
Yeah, it’s a reminder these are demons and from hell. Not just the loveable dad, sex add it Stolas 😯
@@DefinitelyNotDefinitive2 Yep! Fun facts, Stolas actually commands 26 legions of Hell (in the book of solomon) And not to mention, Viv (series creator) actually put his summoning circle in this episode, if you look closely you can see it on the ground where agent two gets possessed. It was the only way Stolas could manifest himself in the human world without his book.
Урааа, я так рад
Did you guys notice the irony of Moxxie standing on all those human corpses while holding a shotgun? PLEASE tell me you got that reference.
Whoa late night upload

Another funny anime parody to react to is sword art online abridged
Will add it to our request list 🙂
They had guns in the edo period tho.
Could you guys react to fight scenes? IP Man vs 10 black belts is a popular one. I love IP Man he's is supposed to be Bruce lee's teacher.
Sounds like something we could definitely check out for some fight night Fridays 😀
Moxxie is one lucky some of a Butch. ☺
Truth 😊
Hey, have you ever heard of Mystery Skull? It’s a pretty interesting Series.
We do have that one on our list 🙂
Yo Defs do you take reaction requests? I'd love to see you react to a video by MamaMax titled 上九一色村物語.exe
It's about a video game that was supposedly made by an infamous Japanese Doomsday Cult called Aum Shinrikyo, and it's a very interesting video to say the least.
We take requests. But because of that. We have a lot of requests. We can right this down on our list we keep 🙂
I would like to know what happen by pushing the "B*tch Juice Button"
