Reminds me of the time I'm looking up on how to change the foglights on my car. Some people in that Facebook group said that I have to turn the wheel all the way to one side and remove the fender liner to gain access to it. Good thing I explored and found out that I can easily just reach the bulb from the engine bay. Dunno how people make simple things unnecessarily complicated.

Whoa, that dash was completely apart....and I thought replacing the passenger airbag off lamp in my crown vic was difficult. Kudos to your dad for being able to put that all back together. Unfortunately the video cut out before you were able to finish your crankshaft position sensor operation on the Dakota patient.

@Jay Smart Right on Jay. You’re a riot. Love it. Anyway, I’m wondering: I have a 1990 Dakota and I don’t see a “Fuel Pump Relay” on the under the hood schematic or the fuse box schematic. Am I lame?, am I missing something? Thanks my Brotha. G~

Good stuff! Also, have you ever come by those convertible Dakotas before? The early 90s was quite interesting considering Dodge decided to make a convertible truck. They probably only optioned it with the higher end Dakotas in the 1st gen maybe. Merry Christmas!

I have been working on my 1988 Ford Thunderbird 5.0 that’s been in a barn since 2003 And a one owner I got it for $450 and I didn’t run it needed a fuel tank and pump and also a starter. I replaced that it fired right up then we took it down the rd for a test drive after I pulled all the wheels off to make sure we weren’t gonna die or anything, it actually drove amazing besides having 20 year old tires and a Mouse nest blowing I my face from the blower motor lol 😂. But it’s a project you can follow my instagram if you want too, I am posting a lot on it with my project cars, cars_trucks_outdoor_195 as always keep up the good work jay 😊

Thanks. The only reference I could find on this is page 8D-6 of the dealer shop manual. It's only marginally helpful. You showed me where to look, and boom.
*Question: We need to remove this part as one step of the procedure for removing the automatic transmission. But this part is called 'engine timing sensor.' That is on page 21-100, step 15 of 4WD transmission removal.
** Is this the same part, only called different in the two procedures?
