      Absolutely right - they meet the definition....
      The betrayal of allegiance toward one's own country, especially by committing hostile acts against it or aiding its enemies in committing such acts. The betrayal of someone's trust or confidence. The offense of attempting to overthrow the government of the state to which the offender owes allegiance, or of betraying the state into the hands of a foreign power; disloyalty; treachery.

    • @tjmarx
      @tjmarx Před 12 dny +12

      For the same reasons the LNP didn't when they were in power, and so back and forth over the last 30 years of the real estate bubble. Also the same reason the Greens haven't supported it since Bob Brown left the leadership. To make home ownership affordable in Australia we would need to cool the market first and lower housing prices.
      But every single politician in Canberra, and every single politician in state parliaments around the country are themselves real estate investors. Every single one of them have a financial vested interest in INCREASING the cost of housing because it increases the return on their investment. See how that works?
      So when you have foreign capital funds come into the Australian market and start buying up land/housing, what do you think happens to housing and rental prices? Here's a hint, they don't go down.
      The same is true with all the "housing affordability" schemes. They have quotas for a reason. That quota is the target number to artificially inflate demand enough to keep the market hot and prices going up.
      It's all a huge scam by both wings of the uniparty. This won't get fixed so long as politicians are allowed to be real estate investors or accept donations from developers.

    She’s consistent. I hope voters judge her on her behaviour and competence because that is the foundation and she fails both. That’s how she would treat the average person on the street when challenged. Remember that a leopard doesn’t change its spots. Obnoxious person!

    Why aren’t Australia super fund doing this $$$
    If foreign countries and funds want to get in on it then they should be paying double no tax relief or incentives as their currency is valued higher than the Aussie dollar
    Simple formula
    Perhaps more of us Australian simple folk should run the country because these clowns have NFI

    Building more houses bring in more immigrants that sounds like a very clever Labor plan. Meanwhile Australians are living on the streets, while these fools talk crap
