Pattern Time Challenge: Can you make the Closet Core Pietra Pants in Three Hours?

A new pattern series inspired by the pattern challenge on the Great British Sewing Bee.
This pattern has 7 pieces to it, whether you make the pants or the shorts. It has large pockets, flat front and elasticated back waistband. I made some fitting adjustments to it before starting the clock.

I love this pattern. Very nice fit as well. I too had to read the instructions on the pocket piece more than once. But as soon as you understand it is so very simple. The light bulb came on and it was such a ‘duh’ moment. 😀

I love this pattern, but I'm not too keen on how it looks in the back. I've made 3 of these so far, but with the elastic waist. My last make were the straight crop pants, and the back doesn't suit me at all. Since I have nothing to lose, I'm going to unpick the back from the front and try this hack, which I really find useful. Thank you so much for making the video.
