- There are these magic moments in the films of Christian Petzold: The spectator is confronted with a situation and the characters' actions without knowing much about them. We become a witness of a conversation or of a gestural dialogue. And we start to sense their biography behind the situations of the film. We've met Christian Petzold and talked with him about communication.
