Naruto Shippuden Reaction - Episode 375 - Kakashi vs. Obito

This episode we get to see the conclusion to the fight between Kakashi and Obito, with Kakashi taking the victory. We get a glimpse of the darkness that lingers in Sasuke's heart when he declares he's willing to destroy all of the tailed beasts in order to end the war. Things go from bad to worse when Obito returns from kamui world just for Madara to take control of his body and force him to use the rinne-rebirth jutsu to bring him back to life, however Obito pulls a fast one and instead weaves the signs to seal the ten tails within himself and became it's jinchuriki!

In the flashback of Obito vs Kakashi when they were kids you can see that Obito could hold a hand-to-hand fight with Kakashi. This shows that Obito always had potential but he didn't have someone to guide him to exploit that potential or he didn't have a good teacher. Obito in terms of the standards of the Uchiha clan didn't meet them and maybe that's where he started to be considered a failure of his clan (The Uchiha were always very proud of how talented they were and the Sharingan, Itachi despised this way of thinking when the Uchiha suspected him of killing Shisui and made that speech). In one of the fillers of Naruto Shippuden, it is implied that when Minato became Obito, Rin and Kakashi's Sensei, the third Hokage asks Minato to keep an eye on Kakashi because of the trauma he had with his father's suicide and the consequences of always following the rules. Considering how emotional the Uchiha are, Minato should have also kept an eye on Obito. Obito was able to exploit that potential when Madara taught him everything, Obito went from being behind Kakashi's shadow to fighting 1v1 against Minato at the age of 14.
Kakashi would also repeat this mistake by being more attentive to Sasuke, and as it happened with Obito, Naruto had Jiraiya who taught him everything.

9:26 Minato using Flying Raijin on Obito & he only sent a shadow clone to do it before Madara could stop it is a feat. Also after Minato recognize it was obito his character started becoming flawed to me .

Yes, a really good episode. One of my favorites because of the animation and how well the sad soundtrack worked in the Kakashi vs Obito fight, it certainly gives you a different feeling.
And one of the few episodes in which the animation is fluid, yes, but the drawing quality is very consistent and quite close to the manga too.
