Props to that manager for letting you keep some of the flags. That was really nice of him, cause usually all that stuff would have to get destroyed.
The company would usually want photo proof that they were destroyed. The manager could have potentially got in trouble but thought your happiness was more important.
Make a 1:1 replica of that prop, destroy that replica, Say cheese! *snap* send to the company, they won't notice a thing! Lol
Can’t believe he was able to get his hands on all those CEC animatronics and props. Nowadays corporate demands that it all gets sent to them to be destroyed.

I've met Matt in person a couple of times while I was visiting Dallas. One of those times, he invited me over to his place and we watched his Jasper show! One of the greatest experiences of my life. Matt is so awesome!
I honestly believe Matt should make a autobiography documentary about himself because he is such an integral part of the CEC community! I also love the non-binary flag on Reggie’s name tag! Love the representation! 💗💗💗
This is such a fun stage setup. Hearing Matt’s story about the waving flags brought back a lot of memories. I’ve never been the biggest Chuck E. Cheese nerd in town, but I can’t deny that CEC was an important part of my childhood.
I was like 4 or 5 years old when I went to the one we had just outside of the city for my birthday. I was always eager to see the characters perform, and the tacky rugs and spotlights really made it feel like a big dance floor. Biggest and greatest memory was when chuck came out to dance with everybody and I ran up and danced alongside him. It was a blast.
I know there were jokes and parodies all over the place about Chuck E. Cheese’s, but it really was something special for a bunch of kids and adults. Sad to see them tossing the animatronics, cuz I think they made the place. Thank you two for finding those gems of the franchise and giving them new life. They look and work amazing, and it made me so happy to see Jasper in such great shape. Cheers!

Wow that’s a great story about the CEC flag. Especially being that young. It reminded me of when I got my Jasper 3 stage mask from the old Fullerton CA location. I started going there because it was the 2nd to the last 3 stage in California. My location lost its 3 stage in late 90s or early 2000s. One day I go there and the stage moved from a 3 stage in the back to a studio c in the front. Make a long story short, I had a conversation with the manager telling him how much I love CEC and how Jasper was always my favorite. He then says to me “ well I have a mask”. He takes me to the office , takes out a box labeled “ 3 stage”, and pulls out the Jasper mask. With a smile on his face he hands it to me. I’ll never forget that day.
That was awesome, Matt is the best CEC fan ever!!!! 🤩

This is an awesome collection! I love seeing peoples personal collections. You should see if you can visit that one guy who has 4 king animatronics! He makes really fun content with them. I believe his channel is called The King Robot.

Hey Chris, I just want to let you know that at first I thought Darien IL’s 2.0 date was 12/21/22 but in reality that is just when the bids are due so we’ve actually got a little more time than we think with the stage. However, just as a precaution, the plan to stick with visiting in the next 2 weeks is probably a good idea. The Chicago Kedzie location about 10 miles away also has a similar stage with a Studio C on a 3 stage.
Does Darien location have a 3 stage ? Or is it already a C beta stage ?

I can explain that one. The signs/stuff on the buildings are other things I enjoy. One thing I listen to is the Kidd Kraddick Morning Show. One of the DJs on there her name is Kellie Rasberry. That sign was from her 50th Birthday Celebration. Which I was also the videographer for.
