Your sketchbook is so impressive, makes me really want to draw and paint and think outside the box and really get creative. Great work !!
+Elf Wallflower I'm so happy it inspired you, thank you!
aw thanks for replying!!!
same super inspired
OKAY CAN I JUST SAY YOU ARE THE MOST ADORABLE HUMAN BEING EVER WHATTTTTTT
+Sophie Carlton THANK YOU AHHHH
If you don't mind me saying, I think it would be better if for your book videos, you layed the book flat on a table/surface and filmed with the camera above the book. Love your artwork, though. :)
Charlotte Evelyn I'll do this in future, I just don't have a tripod right now! But thank you :)
It's unbelievable how much work is actually behind that! I mean even from the individual pages I can't really estimate how many hours... U have really cool ideas! :)
I love how you fill your sketchbook with notes and pictures. I'm too scared to do stuff like that.
I'm heavy into art, smashbook, poetry type stuff and I love your books. I'm so inspired. love love love your hair too....
+Lacey Featherston Thank you!
I'm not a textile artist and have never seen a sketchbook like this before. I definitely feel inspired by it. Beautiful work! :)
This is so inspiring! I love how you experiment with a bunch of different mediums and include them all in your sketchbook.
Nia O'Brien Thank you! :)
I like how creative you are, it inspires me so much ❤️
some of your stuff in there is absolutely genius. im super interested in cellular structures, so its v cool to see how you explored that! love it.
I just found it fascinating on how you build up your piece. It's about experimenting and filing the things you think is related on your topic. That's amazing!!! I really love it[heart][heart]
1) I love your accent! 2) You are really pretty! 3) YOUR ART IS SO AMAZING!! O_O LIKE HOW EVEN! Seriously i loved this video so much!!!
Wow, this is more than great! Lots of Ideas and techniques, I'm really inspired
I really miss having a (or several) huge sketchbooks & having to put extra string on the spiral to re-bind it and bits falling out etc... Everything at uni is a lot more digital and I miss the messy old experimenting and scrapbooks of stuff. Great work hunni :) We did the same thing and I got Distinction too!!!
This is amazing. This is so mix media and i love this so much
You're a big inspiration, you're so creative!
I love sketchbook videos and I thought your concepts were really awesome!
I love your creativity and seeing all the experimenting! It's really inspiring! :D
I enjoy all art. Beautiful interpretations!
Hey Abbie I just did an two week elective in fashion and another in nit-wear and textiles! I'm in art college at the moment and I just handed in my final pieces for assessment I actually ended up chosing to do animation for the next 4 years. I was thinking of making a sketchbook video myself soon! I really loved your sketchbook it was so colourful and creative 10/10 loved it :D .
For my original project I also did plant and flower decay and they way you approached this project was so drastically different and interesting thank you for sharing :D
So amazing! I'm inspired to make sculptures now!
I just want to say that I love your hair and your really pretty and your a really good artist!
That was fun to watch! I'd love to see more sketchbooks and things!
hey this is awesome!!! im a textiles student myself just started my second year of an extended diploma in art and design have also decided to take teh textiles and print route. i love it but sometimes struggle for inspiration so thank you :) i love the way you set your work out and have lots of drawings and painting showing different compositions and so you can visualise your ideas.
What an awesome sketchbook! Really useful for people doing the same or similar courses. :)
Dang, I'm super impressed by textile artists, I just entered college for illustration but I feel like experiencing different types of art provides inspiration for everybody
I LOVED THIS, I am currently doing a theme with rusts and textures for my GCSEs and this has given me some inspiration, thank you! You're very talented and I can't wait to try the burnt tinsel. :)
Becky Underwood Thank you, I'm glad! :)
This really helped me because I've just started college and I haven't got a clear idea of how to get high marks so thank you so much for this! I really love your work btw with the use of mixed media ideas, well done with your distinction :)
+Polka mouse Aw I'm so happy I could help!
This is really incredible! Inspired me to make my own sketchbook video, soooooon! All of your sketchbook drawings are so pretty, how!? :)
Woooooa you're incredibly talented. That looked RAD
theradchik Thank you!
I just found your videos and I love them! new subscriber :)) xxx
First off, you are very talented and you completely deserve that distinction for an amazing project ✨
I also have three questions
1) where did you get that sketch book from?
2) how long did it take you to make this? (It seems like ages to me)
3) what inspired you to take up this theme? (decaying flowers, wire, tubes etc.) 😊
Eleanor Byrne Thank you! My sketchbook is from college but the make is seawhite, it was a few months! and in my previous project I looked at cellular forms and went into plant cells, which then made me look at the timeline of flowers lives, which lead to decay of a range of things (rust, fungi, etc) The tubes came from the form of a foxglove and the copper wires was inspired by rust. Hope this helped!
Your art is amazing and Im in love with your sketchbook!
I love your hair, I might nick the style if that's ok? XD but I prefer seeing the mixed media sketch books cause sometimes just seeing illustrations is boring. I like it when a project is outside of the box, so well done you obviously worked hard.
you're so pretty!!! (i almost teared up bc of how cute u are)
This is so beautiful
Nice! This helped loads I’m taking art this year and growth and decay is my topic too.
beautiful work! :D im still trying to grasp how to draw plants and stuff and this is very inspiring just to look at ^^
I love ur hair sooo much! Im going to get mine cut like urs
your hair looks so awesome
Also, when did you first start getting into art, and what do you plan to do career wise in textiles?
im 2 minuets in and I'm super proud of you and your art work!
+MilkTwo Sugars aw cutie thank you!!
That's a huge sketckbook. I never understood how to carry those around 😂😂

+MissArtsyGurl Thank you!
I thought it was amazing. I'm currently doing a BTEC level 3 in art and design so it was very interesting to see.
Ellie Forster Thank you :)
Great sketch book. Where are you going for your textile course? You will enjoy it I'm sure.
I totally love this, everything about it! You do tons of work and all sorts of things in your books. I'm not trying to be rude but I'm asking to see if theres just something I dont understand but how does wire and plastics go with your theme of growth and decay? Is it the look of it or am I just missing something?
+Jo-quellin After working with conventional materials I didn't feel they were too interesting so I simply experimented with unconventional things such as plastics and wire and preferred the outcome! The use of various colours of copper wire was inspired by the colours of rust, and the crispness and delicacy of the burnt plastic was inspired by decaying petals. Hope this makes a little more sense!
You look so cool, You rock short hair so well! looks so soft.... I'm not creepy I swear 😳😧😂
I'm getting a pixie cut soon and I'd love something like yours 😍👌🏻
did you do it? I love my pixie cut!!!
+Abby H I did! I absolutely love it too! Only downside is how fluffy my hair is so it can sometimes go weird if I blow dry it but it can easily be fixed :D
i know, that's the only problem i have... well, that and the fact that i sometimes wake up with it sticking straight up... but it's still great!
Have you used masking tape to add you're notes on top of you're work or is it tracing paper? It's such a good idea, you're so talented!xx
I always use masking tape!
Beautifullllll.... ✔✔✔💐

I absolutely think you deserved that distinction! Although you say your sketches are a bit wonky, your creative process is astounding! The breadth of your research and test pieces really comes out in your final product ( •̀ᄇ• ́)ﻭ✧
+RiceRabbit98 Thank you so so much!
Love the styles you have in the book, your drawings are pretty cool. How big is that sketchbook you have in the video?
- cheers from the US
Dragon21Studios looks to be a3
+Abbie Rose thank you so much for inspiring me and u made my day cause I got an A in art xD
Was this sketchbook created during your Pathway Stage? Confirmatory stage? Or through both of those stages?
Karla Mayers it looks like a Fmp (final major project)
amazing
Inspired
nice hair color :D
you remind me of the women from the tv show FRIENDS XD
I see this with a lot of artists, that have sketchbooks that actually look like an art piece in itself. Do you have any tips to make a sketchbook look better? Mine are normally just the paper that comes with it and pencil drawings.
I guess it's because this is all working towards a final piece so I'm trying out a range of techniques and testing what works best. I'm also a textile artist so j love my books to be very tactile :) To make yours more interesting id suggest using different materials and working with different papers, don't just do the obvious!
+Cutiebum This makes sense, I don't think I have ever themed a sketchbook towards one piece. It is an interesting approach to it, a lot of exploration I noticed throughout each one of your sketchbooks. I will definitely try to make one more personal instead of just racing through it. Thank you for the quick reply!
+dominatorN4 No worries! Good luck :)
so adorbsO_O
