- Sit back, turn the sound up and enjoy the loudest crowd you will hear in Australian sport.
Hear the ROAR of 95,000 people as Richmond Football Club make their way onto the hallowed turf of the MCG for the Elimination Final against Carlton on Sunday, September 8, 2014.
Yes we lost the game, so I have only uploaded our entrance until the first bounce.
best worst game i've ever been to, exciting and heartbreaking
Never seen or heard anything like the noise from the tiger army when we ran out that day. send shivers down my spine just thinking about it!
Love the YELLOW AND BLACK part in the song! And I'm a power supporter
Im a Port supporter aswell, but one of my favourite bits of the final at AO last week (barring the pantsing we gave em) was the tiger army doing that part of the song. Spine tingling.
Cant deny loving that part i always say wait for it just as it hits yellow and black
Great video. I hadn't seen this since being there on the day.
It would have been even better if the first half was included here .. we still hold the distinction of being the only team ever to lose a final to a team which finished 9th on the ladder :/
Up the blues 😍
Best game I've been to but Richmond crowd were amazing
glad the richmond fans got to sing it before the game, BUT NOT AT THE END :D
We all know what happened next...
I was sitting behind the goals in the the southern that day and it was the biggest noise I have ever heard at the footy. It doesn't come though on the video, but it was amazing. I have been to all the big Tiger Finals of recent and I have never heard anything as loud.......didn't end well....but F you Carlton....how do you like us now?
2002 prelim pies vs Adelaide loudest crowd I've heard. Especially when Rocca kicked a 70 m bomb.
60,000 Richmond supporters, 35,000 Carlton
we lost cos push up was so small he couldn't hear anything 7:05
It was a dark, dark day.
It means little to nothing, unless they win a final. Maybe next year? They can't lose again, surely. (I like the Tigers. Probably my third favourite team, behind North of course and Hawthorn).
+Phil Storer (stop1885) but with all of those fans, the Tigers still lost. Kangas might have had only 20 or 30,000 fans, but at least we won!! That's the object of the game!!! To WIN.
+Phil Storer (stop1885) richmond wont be better then north in the years to come.
Hawthorn should never ever be second choice for a North supporter! What is wrong with you? Short memory, google some '70s VFL they are your mortal enemies .. do you see Tigers putting Blues second? No. Hawks and Roos entered the league together in 1925 with the Bulldogs as well so you should hate them both extra.
+Justin Street - I think you'd better take a look at the 2017 Grand Final mate.
@@velvetjuzzy No, I suppose 2 Premierships doesn't count. North are still shit.
spew in they couldn't win
I hate Carlton :/ the 1982 grand final was a robbery we absolutely caned them a couple of weeks earlier.
How was that a Roberry, we were the better team
Lol still choked against Carlton
Yeah, it spurred us on to become YOUR reigning Premiers.
And then they lost... Lol...
Munted Mango it doesn't matter meany
Losing finals doesn't matter? Ok.
and then they WON the 2017 Premiership Flag!! Cop that! :-)
@@classicafl It doesn't matter when you go on to win 2 premierships only a few years later!
@@michaelt5017 And the 2019 Premiership too!
