I'll never forget the sight and sound of a v10 f1 car going through eau rouge flat out, it was absolutely the single most amazing spectacle I've ever seen in my life. I simply don't know enough adjectives to explain it.
+MrJoshiej 5 Years On CZcams That "listen to us fans" isn't really useful, because many fans wants turbo or supercharged engines (of course from early ages of F1) instead of V10 naturally aspirated engines.
+Borsófőzelék Piskótakockával I don't believe that many fans want turbo engine's and stuff like that, We as racing fans have nothing to say to a organisation like the FIA.
For some reason I just felt like a 10-year old again. That sound shot me straight back into my childhood, I have goosebumps right now. Thanks for the video, sadly F1 these days is far away from its old glory ;(
Boa noite !!!!!! Abraço do Brasil........
Faster than today. In those days the had lines in there slick tyres. To reduce almost 30% on the surface. And tyres this days are wider. With the same tyres as today the are faster than now!
Real racing? Ferrari, I mean Schumacher dominance for years was real racing? Races back then were hella boring there was no overtake, no action. Racing nowadays is way better, we haven't had a battle for the championship so intense like this in years. Sound this year isn't thaaaat impressive though, I must admit.
Overkill yes maybe you are right but the sound and speed was way better and yes schumacher dominatet it for years, but behind him were great fights too. and with real racing i meant that there were no helps like DRS or KERS
Overkill yes me too. but i have the feeling that the suspense in formula 1 is forced because of this technical helps so i dont like it as much as these times
Jaguar F1, the most beautiful F1 car from the real F1 era. Too bad Ford pulled out back then, still don’t know why they had little or none results.. Present days F1 is so.. unattractive, not to mention the cars are so ugly.. sound is wrong.. rules are.. I really miss F1 weekends from 1998-2008!
Jesus, does he really need guys holding the tyre warmers on, what a total berk! Its an amateur series that he owns, runs and must hvae won every year, get a life fella
Amateur....? This man drove 2 weeks ago a world record at Zandvoort. Dont think that an amateur will race in a 2004 F1 +300 kmh racecar, The shots i made where all in his first 3 laps of his stint. When a new stint started he was the first one on track. 3 free rounds without laggards ( and already some good grip ). So no time to heat up the tyres on the race track. Your comment makes totaly no sense.
What I meant is that the series is fairly low key, does he realy need bloody tyre warmers and blokes standing like an F1 team with the blankets on?? Bit over the top isnt it?
chunder27 I dont think so, this was an test day for him. And probably the last time that he was able to drive on Spa Francorchamps because of new rules. His goal was to beat his personal record and other records for the last time.
Sorry, not digging the sound at all. Turbo engines and NA engines at lower rpm bring far more complex sounds. An hour listening to that wailing and I've had it and heading for the exit, It's just so boring & repetitive. I think that naturally aspirated is fine up until around 16K then it starts to be really instrusive and doesn't bring anything new to the party, The worse headache I ever had in my life was at a Schumacher era British Grand Prix, probably 2006. I hated it and never went to another live Grand Prix. I'm pretty sure that the kind of people that like this sound also stick coffee cans on their beat up old Golf's exhaust. There! I've said it - have at it!
Still one of the best looking cars of F1 history.
Zoli Varga And best sounding.
Just not the quickest.
Sauber Petronas
McLaren Vodafone
Jaguar
These cars are real racing- beauty's
@@NoycieBrv infelizmente
One of the most beautiful F1 cars I've ever seen 😍
Jaguar F1 - most beautiful F1 cars ever. Love that green!
I'll never forget the sight and sound of a v10 f1 car going through eau rouge flat out, it was absolutely the single most amazing spectacle I've ever seen in my life. I simply don't know enough adjectives to explain it.
Now THAT'S proper F1 sound.
exactly my thought
Absolutely the best F1 Sound ever!
The magic of F1 is dead, but can still be heard.
F1 really need listen to us fans and give us this true V10 sound back into the sport that sound is bloody epic
+MrJoshiej 5 Years On CZcams That "listen to us fans" isn't really useful, because many fans wants turbo or supercharged engines (of course from early ages of F1) instead of V10 naturally aspirated engines.

Lemans15 Of course, an n/a engine fan mostly belives that everyone agrees with him.
Lemans15 By the way I don't agree with FIA at all.
Big time. Those v6 hair dryers are a joke.
That sound...that MARVELOUS SOUND!!
For some reason I just felt like a 10-year old again. That sound shot me straight back into my childhood, I have goosebumps right now. Thanks for the video, sadly F1 these days is far away from its old glory ;(
Good old days! I miss that sound!
beautiful beautiful V10 sound, the angels are singing rather than having a bad case of diarrhea 2014 has
Seeing a V10 with slicks makes me dream of the possibilities :D
Boa noite !!!!!!

Sound sound sound, the best time of the year 1990-2006
01:59 to 02:04 sir you did great job than any other professional cameraman on any race
This sound
man, wish it still sounded this good
The rattle this car makes when in low revs is even better than the V10 sound. So raw.
Beautiful green color, and V10 F1 engine.
Many MANY years later this is still in my top three videos on CZcams!!! 👊👊👊
Thanks!!!
V10 = F1.
what about sennas 1988 mclaren? it has a v6 turbo from honda, even sounds quite similar to the vtec v6... never heard anyone complain about it...
@@Gollas4k I agree with you but that 88 Honda v6 didnt sound as the Hybrid v6
The sound is intoxicating!
And it grew up into a RedBull :D
geweldig man!
maybe not as fast as today, but much more drama. The sound makes this feel much faster.
Faster than today. In those days the had lines in there slick tyres. To reduce almost 30% on the surface. And tyres this days are wider. With the same tyres as today the are faster than now!
Som simplesmente espetacular!
This could cure cancer
Jaguar
REAL f1 car. Real F1 engines.. And what a sexy car.
Can I win a few millions and buy myself one...

Man, were you there at that day?
Do you know who own this car today?
This is perfect.
I bet the car was taken from Red Bull's factory. Let's not forget Red Bull bought Jaguar back at the end of 2004 season.

Wow, geweldig!

When cars really looked like F1 cars not some kind of remote control car
Who owns this car???
I don't care about the results. That Cosworth V10 will make your ears bleed and you will be grateful.
v10 best f1 engine ever

Lol, just seems a bit overkill thats all, I imagine he was seeing how close he got to the latimes of the Jag in 04
chunder27 dont know the laptimes. But he was going extremly fast.
But everyone has its own opinion:-)
