    Thanks for posting this! An excellent recording of what was an absolutely EPIC final! What he couldn't overcome in the 4x100, he did here in the 4x400! Strake's next great star Malik Cambell ran the 2nd leg in this race, and he's just a sophomore!

      @@cruzthird Yes he is ... I went to HS with his Dad and Uncle ... both prolific in their own right. Very cerebral kid, and lots of top end speed, though he only ran on the relays this year. My guess is he transitions to the open 200/400 and relays next year.

      Can you explain to people outside the USA what a sophomore is.

    • @bwilli34
      @bwilli34 Před 4 lety +3

      @@georgesutton9556 IThe term "Sophomore" refers to your second year in High School, of which here in the United States, there are four such years you must complete satisfactorily, to graduate. Your Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, and Senior year (years 1, 2, 3, and 4). High School is the level of secondary education that precedes College or University studies.

    Chris Ford, the anchor leg for DeSoto, ran a 47.770. Boling's official time listed with UIL was 44.743
    My brother manually time them in in the video it shows a pedestrian 45.52. We know that was wrong. And he got his autograph on his stat sheet on the 100 meter listing.
