- Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. Re programmed and arranged by musicians.

Chandana bala kalyan for this song is an ideal choice. But what we heard was her version of the song which is also very good with some good improvisation at many places. For a person who is not even remotely connected to tamil and tamil film songs, her rendition was commendable. However, the original touch of P Sushila madam remains unsurpassed. Such was sushila's domination of this song that we find it difficult to accept anything less. Nadaswaram performer was amazing.

Yes. With no misgivings about the choice of the singer, the nuances of Sushilamma which we are so much used to, in hearing such numbers, were not there to satisfy the core fans. Nice selection of song and best team effort.
This song and KVM's Chinnanchiriya from Kungumam are some of good selections for this program.

This song is very beautifully composed by GREAT GREAT VERY CREATIVE COMPOSER mellisai mannar MSV in DARBARI KANADA RAGAM. What an expression given to every words of KANNADASAN, througout the song given by P SUSHEELA. I am very sorry to say that No other music director nowadays can compose a song like this. Debut singers can try to sing this song in reality shows. This is a very challenging song.

As you rightly said, the song is a 'sangathi' galore. Chandana is a fine new find. I was very happy with her few improvisation which came out superbly. Though I am not mentioning names individually, the entire team who made this song deserves praise. Beautiful voice. Flue, Nadhaswaram and Melam are pure bliss. She missed certain notes or sang it differently. But nothing too serious. She definitely tried to do a great job. not an easy song for non-tamil speakers.
