Clinkz Phylactery came into meta just after we recorded this video. We're not Clinkz spammers ourselves but it was nice to see he was a perfect proof of concept with the Tar cool down time making Empower Spell super spammable.
We've played it a bit ourselves since putting out this video and definitely feel the effects too. We're also happy to see Medallion and Solar Crest making a comeback which have felt like dead items for a long time. We love when all items are viable - it makes the game super dynamic.
I had an absolutely awesome game as lich last night trying Phylactery as my first expensive item.
Yeah Lich can be pretty gross in the right lineup. A lot of people like him with Phylactery due to the way it times out with Frost Blast. Personally, we're more fans of Lich going Pavise as in combination with his Frost Shield he makes the 300 physical barrier go way further since you can decrease damage before it hits the shield - but we could see how against magical burst lineups that Phylactery might be a better option as a support damage item.
