This series has been a long time coming, and I hope it can serve well as a beginner's guide to the world of Traveler's Notebooks. Inspired by one of my friend who just started getting into TNs and wanted to know how to set them up. I've also put in time stamps so feel free to jump around the sections if you are not a complete newbie. I tried to pack all the things I would love to know when I was starting, so I hope this helps! Send your friend this video if they are just starting on TNs.
Note (forgot to add in the video): I don't condition my camels as it will change the colour and I actually really love the texture. If you condition the camel, the leather will get darker and not fuzzy anymore.

Saddle soap is good for the leather too. Using a soft cloth with it cleans and conditions all leather. We've used it on show saddles, leather belts, leather car seats...

This was fantastic!! I love the look and customization! I'm just getting into TN as well. I also had no idea what to do with pencil card. 😅
The pencil board is initially created to be put behind a white paper so you can write straight :) These days I mostly use it as a base when I stamp, cause it helps me stamp more evenly. Welcome and hope this video helps your start to your TN journey.
I think it’s funny how I follow you who is very neat about their TN setup and I follow someone who does maximalist design with their TN set up.

Great presentation! Although ive gone through the list, is the insert that has a cover/sticker somthing, it looks like its from travelers company. I know in the USA its not easy to get traveler company items. I sure would like to know how I could get that insert. I just love TNs. thanks for sharing
Is it the sticker release paper insert that you are after? It functions like a sticker book and you can place your stickers there?

The cover will look different because the one i have in this video is part of the limited edition run, but it functions the same.

I don't condition my camels! That includes my limited edition
That said, I do condition my hotel which is the brown, however I don't condition over where the gold foils are. I find that mostly it gets dry on the spine so I mostly condition over there. Hope that helps!

You’re very welcome! There isn’t a set schedule really, but they definitely do more limited editions that is Japan only. They usually will post on their instagram though so make sure you follow that for updates ❤️

How would you suggest getting fountain pen ink stains out of the cover?
For my stamp ink stain I used a Qtip and euclyptus oil to gently lift the stain off. I also have heard that if you generously put baking soda over them, and then put a layer of baking paper and iron it on low, it will help lift off the stain as it sticks to the baking soda. I have not tried the 2nd method though. Let me know if that works, hope that helps!
