Why would anyone choose Raleigh over Columbia? beats me??? your credentials matter when you look for a job and Columbia being in New York City, you may be able to get part-time work while studying and at Master's level lot of the classes can be in the late afternoon or evening sometimes on Sat mornings. Raleigh is a good city to live for a person who is not from a Major city of the world, but part-time jobs will be a little harder. Well you made this decision, so good luck to you. You should have talked to Columbia alums in INDIA as well as Indian students studying in Columbia which your admissions counselor would have connected you with.
Good luck to you - Columbia's loss is Raleigh's gain.
