- Full Custom Ian Roussel Gaps The Window And Reconfigures The Window Door Frame On A 1941 Chevy Chop
We had a wind event out here in the wild Mojave Desert, and it ruined, or almost ruined one of Ian's projects, a 1941 Chevy Coupe body. The roof was beyond reparable, but Dave from @RileyRestorations came to the rescue with a 1941 Chevy Sedan. The rest is chop top history in the garage in Mojave.
Ian is getting in the metal work on this beauty, and is creating art and showing just how involved metal working and sculpting can be

“Who are the only people that don’t make mistakes….LIARS!” 👍🤣
Can't tell you how happy I am to see your new utube channel personally I don't know anything about custom auto work what I enjoy seeing is how your artistic blend of work and inspiration meld into one of a kind builds.
All without the TV drama crap
Thanks for posting
@@davelawrence6777 Fun fact...neither did I! ~ Jamie
Hi Jamie I'm new 2 months ago, when are the T-Shirts going to be restocked, their sold out of my size
I remember waiting every year for new episodes of Ian. And now with Jamie I can follow along with all the projects. While I never plan to restore/build cars, these episodes are a bit like Bob Ross to me. Just pure viewing enjoyment. Thanks Ian and Jamie for the great channel and content.
Thank you! We are glad to be here! Appreciate the support!
Me as well!!! Im in New Zealand!!
me too. In Adelaide, South Australia
Same here. , Ian has this great almost hippy vibe doesn't get frazzled. You can tell he enjoys his craft.
"What do you call people who don't make mistakes?" I love it!! And for those folks that can't understand why these vehicles are so expensive, I challenge them to watch your videos to see just how labor intensive they are! Great work, as always!👍
Ian amazes me with his free cutting, no measurements just eye ball it a go! Very talented!
I agree, just pure talent and great imagination
Hello Jamie and Ian, Nice to see you back. It’s lonely, boring and sad without you two.
We missed you as well!
The flat metal gap filler and bridge piece were genius. Takes a craftsman and an artist with vision. And speaking of craftsmanship, Jamie, your filming, editing, music, and presentation have become top drawer! Keep it up and the production crew for Full Custom Garage will be stopping by for a few tips! All of the hard work by both of you has made your channel one of the best automotive channels on CZcams.
Thank you! I am still working on improving the production quality! It is fun to learn! Thank you for watching! ~. Jamie
Ian, anybody who says they never make a mistake isn’t doing anything. Another great video. Thanks.
So much work. That you make look so easy.. That is why I watch, and you build. we make a great team. Thanks for the videos
Could not has said it better myself
As a normal petrol head brought up on custom car mags in the 80's I never imagined the detailed work that went into creations such as yours. I love the sheer artistry of what you're doing, and while I love the tv shows you've done, it's excellent seeing the real effort that goes into each and every curve and bend of your amazing vehicles. Thanks Ian and Jamie for giving us this.
Sooo many hours! Thank you!
Comment above about Bob Ross. Agreed. Ian just flows and his true inner self shows through. So glad I found his channel😊
Jamie's voice reminds me of the female version of hal 9000.❤. Thank you both for sharing.
We are glad you found us too!
Jamie and Ian, you've hit the big time!..now get the giant shop built , tons of new tools and lots of people helping fill ur content. Love you two just the way u are.
Ian is certainly a master of his trade. The way that that he envisions things in their most particular details is really refreshing and not short of amazing. As a person who does not have at all any of his skills, I just admire what he does. That is why this show is so complementary to his other TV show: You can see how this thinking evolves and how he implements his ideas. In this show you tings happening in front of your yes, in the other show he discuss them a bit and then you see them coming to fruition in stages and in longer intervals.
Carry on Ian and Jamie. Lobe watching this show.
My new T-Shirt arrived. Thank you. And it DOES glow in the dark!!
The 1 thing I like most about his style of fabrication is a lot like mine, I can make anything fit and work. Just cut it, fill it and it will all work out. This man is my hero!!!
Wow Ian 👌 you're a GENIUS. I LIKE THAT YOU JUST VISUALIZE IT CUT ,SHAPE AND WELD. I WISH I CAN WELD LIKE YOU 👍.....IM WORKING ON IT.
I have a lot respect for you, you make one change to a car and it will cost you hours and hours of labor, and you go into it with such passion and patience.
Great to see Ian on U-tube ! I've got a couple of DVD's which I've played a dozen times. If anything his Fab skills have gotten better with the passage if time.
While I was watching Ian work his magic, I looked at the 👍 counter it was at 54 when I started its screaming up amazing just how many people enjoy watching him work . 👍
I have an old DVD where you built a roadster pickup and your steel toed boots were tore up so you took pliers and pulled the steel toes out and welded them to the cowl for air scoops. Very cool touch. Still have that DVD btw
Out of all your tv shows n video forms, this is the best. Your interaction with the people beats entertaining antics
So true, the interaction is what makes it better.
Really enjoy you show, what u do is real art. Whether u like it or not it's the journey,
Ian's command of the death wheel is extraordinary. Master of the death wheel.
You are an inspiration man it’s a joy to watch you work
Per your opening "WARNING" - despite caution I DID learn that watching "The Roussel videos" are fun - and entertaining.
Thank you Jamie and Ian. Merry Christmas to you both!!!
Love the way you show how you do everything. Refreshing to watch. Thankyou
Ian your doing a great job as you always do 👍
Thanks 👍

Master Class on metal shaping !
The Chevy chop is progressing well. Like the passenger side windows and styling lines. Look forward to your return to the VW... I am biased to bugs!... when you have time. And the jeep, another promising project. Never a dull moment? It's why I tune in!!
I see those sub numbers going up,it’s gaining some momentum but not where it should be for the immense talent of the creators. Thank you Ian and Jamie for sharing these videos. Hit the right buttons people and help grow this endeavor.
Ian, you are the master metal fabricator. Really enjoy see watching you work.

Ian has years of experience doing this but this episode I'm praising Jamie for her excellent camera work. She has definitely become a pro and it's the camera work is as much as Ian's experience that makes all these fun to watch. Kudos to JAMIE.

I love the way you aren't afraid to make the seemingly impossible possible. The way you eyeball your present and future tasks and make them seem so simple. I think your lack of fear to tackle tough projects is amazing. You sir are an artist .😊❤
Rather ingenious utilizing the flip-side door frame. It turned out great.
Man I think you and your wife work together perfectly also I think your fabrication show is one of the better shows I’ve been watching keep on the grind I love your work.!!!!!👍

Thanks again for another lesson in custom work. Just watching Ian's process of fitting and sizing is a literal tutorial. This is one of the few channels that excites me and makes me want to create in my shop.

The master, glad I found this channel . Definitely better than the TV show. Thanks

Excellent Ian. Ever since I was a younger chap in my 20's with my Chevy 49 I wanted to chop the roof but I had no Idea how to make the window frames be correct and follow the original path, you just showed us how to do it. Unfortunately I don't have the car

Yep you got this. And the camera is on point. The number is getting closer to the first 100k. Great job and great to see you both having fun with it. Thanks for sharing 🎉
It would look great if you had a classic Hot Rod metal flake on this one // Root beer Brown and honey butter gold w/a Hot orange pin stripe job .
It's great to watch you dodge and weave to get to your final vision...amazing and Jamie on the camera to record it all..nice job
