Great , thanks a lot .. I have been waiting for this video, wondering whether the M1 iPad Pro 12.9 will work as a HDR external monitor with sidecar for footage display from FCP on the M1 Mac. (I have the M1 macbook air). Your section on using FCP in this setup was a bit short, hurried... Perhaps you can help a little further with my remaining 2 questions :
1) Using your setup with FCP on the Mac - does the iPad really show a HDR version of the FCP video when FCP is on your non-HDR Mac ?
Second, how stable is the sidecar connection with the iPad for use with FCP on the Mac, and ... how is the connection using a cable to the iPad ??

I have a Mac Mini M1 and it hasn't been working with my iPad pro 2020 since the last updates to the Mac mini. It keeps saying the "device timed out" . Have you heard of this problem? Solutions? Thanks for the video.

Don’t use the iPad for that, if you wanted to do stuff like that, use a Mac in my opinion, even lumafusion isn’t as powerful as Final Cut Pro and when you want to get into professional work with other editors they will most likely use final cut
