Good comparison as always! I really liked the CS 69 on the neck position, but both seem twangy in bridge position and not hot enough. Maybe a DiMarzio Cruiser would do it 😅
Man, I've been looking everywhere for this comparison. The differences don't appear as stark as I thought they would be from this recording. I think the CS 69s have a little more bass on tap? Are these the v-mod 1 or 2? Trem floating, decked or blocked? Thanks!
Thank you! CS69 has a little less midrange. These are Vmod 1 pickups. Tremolo floating. I'll tell you honestly what I feel. When I listen with my eyes closed, I hardly hear the difference. I feel the difference when I play the guitar. Different response from pickups. It's harder for me to play the Vmod neck pickup than the CS69. The closer the Vmod pickup is to the strings, the more out of tune the guitar is, so due to the strong magnetic field of the Alnico 2 and 3 magnets I think. The CS69 has the vintage tone I wanted. But for me, CS 69 lacks mids. I still can't find the Fender guitar of my dreams that sounds the way I want.))
@@ElvisSashareally appreciate the response. I recently picked up my first stratocaster (been a telecaster guy my whole life) and it's an am pro 1 with the vmods and I've been debating on swapping them, just not sure where to go. I do like a little more of a scooped tone, but wondering if the cost is worth it as the vmods don't seem terrible but not great. Kind of a master of none. Really appreciate your comparison and response. Great playing! :)
@@evanpauls3078 My guitar is also an American Pro 1 , but Limited Edition with an ebony fretboard and HSS. But I didn't want a humbucker and changed the humbucker to a single. And I started with Dimarzio and since then I changed the pickups on this guitar probably 8 times and I can't stop.)) I forgot to say that the CS69 makes noise in all 5 positions. That is, there is no noise canceling in positions 2 and 4. And I have been a Stratocaster player all my life, and two weeks ago I bought my first Telecaster Mexican. I really liked the Tele's fat and punchy sound. Maybe I'll switch to Telecaster)) Thank you. Good luck to you!!!
I like both sets. Tough choice. I'd be happy with either.
О, да я много пропустила! Либо интернета не было, либо уведомнлений не увидела.
Сыграли классно! Как всегда!
Вы ничего не пропустили, все равно я не делаю ничего интересного. Спасибо)
Very similar. Maybe a little deeper bass with the 69’s, but barely noticable

Thank you very much! I completely agree with you. I'm thinking of a Dimarzio Cruiser or Seymour Duncan SSL5 in the bridge.😊

Hey, V-mods sound great. Which amp are you using?
I was using Neural DSP Tone King Imperial MKII plugin.
