The tallest naturally-generating cactus ever discovered was 22 blocks tall!
Just remember that there are 9.571656652 * 10^31441 possible skins on Java Edition (no seriously I looked this up) and at least 26793 players chose to use the one that looks like a bootleg green teletubby
while that number is technicaly accurate effectively it isnt take one pixel on a skin and shift its color just a tiny bit and you wont notice a change

11:57 CrazyFools UK might not actually be the server with the most days. The Prototech server might actually be beating them. Last year they did a tour with Impulsesv and Skizzleman and their day counter was at about 144,000. Its possible they hold the record on that as the tour was a year ago.
Edit: the tour was actually close to 2 years ago, few months out from that.
It's a hard record to determine because of so many private servers I guess
Pretty sure proto launched in 2014 so I very much doubt they hold the record
@@jerp2543 miss scicraft
prototech player here. just jumped onto the server to find the day count at 194036 days, which is just over the record you showed at 192561. As of 5 days ago, via Jorvp's twitch, scicraft was up to 176767 days. Hope this helps
@@GreenJab oh hey green! I literally did the same thing when you mentioned this in member chat 🤣

Most average bedwars players could beat Ali’s stairs record lol
The only reason it isn’t beaten is because it takes an ABSURD amount of time to get a response from Guinness World Records, if at all.

What I am more impressed than having the most number of players in a single world is that is you can interact with other players' as entities from multiple different processor cores.

Rest in Peace, The legend. Kelanduo. We all miss you.
He left behind works of art, an absolute legend rip

Impressive how the Minecraft community can do all of these

Tallest cactus ever found :
23 blocks or 24 blocks
Theoratically rarest occurence :
Only forest biome world without using single biome world setting (0.000{55 billion zeros}001%)
In my mind, yogscast still hold the record. They were using an unmodified version of minecrafts server software. Clearly pluto was using some sort of modified version of the server software to allow it to span a single world across multiple "servers"
when couriway finishes his 1000 speedruns series he has the record for the most times minecraft beaten which no one is talking about lol
I think he already has it lmao

One of the neat things about the 4k player MrBeast server was that they actually enabled building within that 4 quadrant area after a while. The world was seamlessly synced across all the divided servers, and even things like pvp, player collisions (being pushed around by other players), and worldedit (used to replace border between quadrants with barriers after players kept breaching it, which we breached again by going over it after the change) worked. It was essentially a short-lived thousand player SMP, and surprisingly players were actually quite cooperative, even after pvp was enabled. It really felt like it was just a really big minecraft server and not a linked network of smaller ones. And to be honest, knowing the limits of modern minecraft servers, the way they did it is probably the ONLY way to break the old record, because I doubt even a supercomputer could handle an individual minecraft server with 4k players.
Contributor to the WorldQL project here - yes, the MrBeast record used a very similar method. Players are distributed across multiple servers on demand, and all interactions are mirrored artificially using a plugin to make it appear to the player that all users are on the same server. Each server “phones home” to a control server that takes in events and instructs subordinate servers to replicate them. Entities, held item, dropped items, etc. The plugin for MrBeast was made by egg82.
I’ve always thought that the most downloaded skins are the ones with the jacket guy with the fire and water theme

9:17 he used litematica and it has the option to instantly paste the entire thing, considering that you get 128x128 sections from the program still gives us a lot of time, but no where near as long as it'd took to build it without using this options
Actually. No. Litematica doesn't have such a feature. I use litematica constantly, and there is no such feature in litematica. The only way to get such a feature is via using world edit. Even then, I don't think that was how Kelanduo did it (I believe). I was talking to Gelanduo (the person who has now taken over Kelanduo) that day on the CZcams comment section, and he revealed that he actually uses map generator to generate said the map structure, import it into his world and then further modify the structure until he likes it.
Actually..... Ignore the first part of my statement. I just realized that litematica does have such a feature, I've just never used it.
@@astikach666 yeah litematica does have that future I use it constantly in designing proces before I build it in survival
Even for litematica, you still need to create the schematics, which i guess could be done with a program, but then you could directly use a program to build the map, so idk.
@@TejasIsAmazing I use a program to generate it first then check it in creative and then build it in survival
For those of you wondering, 192,561 days translates to around 527.6 years. There has been over half a millennium of (in-game) time spent on that server
At 7:53 RIP Kelanduo 07 hope you're doing well where ever you are now...... And also Sayonara Kaichou(Coco Kiryu) the MC art Kelanduo made which took the record she graduated a couple months ago but you can still find her though just nott Hololive anymore....it's pretty popular on the search bar so looking it up should be pretty easy
I'm surprised at the achievement of the Minecraft community sometimes.
Largest day count on Multiplayer :
192,000 days
Largest day counter on Singleplayer :
Maybe its 11,000 by Jon Bams.
Hey. So about the days count on MCO. It's likely somewhere between 1 million and 1.5 million total.
9:01 Mods or not that's impressive as hell
How do you make your videos so insanely interesting. I’m on a watching TheMisterEpic spree lmao.
Hahahahaha
I'm pretty sure NameMC doesn't show the true amount of people who are using a certain skin, but shows the amount of skins on players that have been looked up on the website.
Oh well, then the website gives a sample I guess, which when generalised to the whole population would likely have similar skin popularities, just with far more people
Another insane video… thanks for being great!
Thanks!
9:03
Priceless art right there.
NFTs can't even compete against this.
Wow that railroad thing is so cool. Never knew about any of these records! Great video
Thanks!

Why is that shocking at all? There’s a TEN YEAR GAP in computing technology. Of course the one in 2021 is gonna be better by a long shot.
If you watch the whole segment on that, you'll see that is still hasn't really been beaten
Java is so badly optimized for servers that it doesn't actually really matter how good hosting technology has gotten from what I understand.
If I explained in detail I'd just be confusing so I suggest you look it up for yourself
On another note, the workaround with having multiple servers running using a plugin was pretty smart though. I wonder how it'd work once you start editing the blocks in the world??
From what I got with this video I'd say using world edit to spawn in 1000 blocks for example would be equivalent of spawning 1000 blocks 10 times, one time for each server/world interlinked?
@@penguinoflifea9499 yeah, I've been following the java multi player problem and the code for it, as far as I can tell from what I've heard, orders things so badly that there's still a pretty hard cap on how many people you can have at once. Like, you would need a hardware upgrade to the level of quantum computing for it to have a serious effect.
But I am really curious to know how they got so many servers to host the same map, because that feels like a monumental challenge of it's own right, and potentially close to the solution of having Minecraft use multiple cores.
@@jem5636 Wynncraft came out with something similar a while ago, though it utizilizes the desync to make sure people progress properly, for example a jump in wynncraft might be visible for another person in the same server/world, whilst not there for another person at the same time. they've also made it so players in a different server are visible, but It's not well synced and definitely not as impressive as the example in this video from what I understand.
RIP Kelanduo the legend pixel art builder

Seeing Hololive in a Minecraft youtuber's video looks so surreal, yet this shows how vastly popular Hololive has become over the past couple of years. They're everywhere now, no denial about it whatsoever.
yeah, it’s surreal to see them in non-vtuber related channels, especially on Minecraft channels
and thats the bad part about it
Thank you for including Kelanduo map art on your video!
Good video. You seemed to cover the relevant context fairly well. I would say that, having run a server since 2011, I wouldn't trust any day counter. Ours was reset due to bug in the way the time was changed (I forget if it was a plugin issue or a bukkit issue), so I fixed it to be more accurate, but precision was lost. So you can't just check F3. The longest existing world in real time is a bit more interesting, imo. There are a few from 2010 that are still going.
recently i just found out u could put prot , sharp, fire aspect on a pick on 1.17.1, I think you should make a video on that bug
A moment of silence for Kelanduo
Rest in peace

Welp, press F for that guy
I love the use of Glaciers in the background music, starting at the largest pixel art!
Some incredible records! And a very informative and fun video! Good job!
And good luck to anyone who tries to Break a World Record!
me at the end of the video:

"oh, wow, he has grian and mumbo!"
I'm late to this but I have to mention it at 3:32 you can see me run by as rubee1 kinda interesting that that happened and didn't even know it was you. Mrbeast messaged us on his gaming server to get on and we did kinda a cool experience I guess especially since there was no lag what so ever which was really suprising.
My personal favorite of the records shown has to be the pixel art one since I also tried it in my own world. Because i made the decision to only go as far as converting the image to the minecraft map color palette, it takes me much longer to do even small pieces. While I doubt the record holder placed each block individually, let alone done it in survival, there is still so much effort needed to finish pixel art that big.
rest in peace Kelanduo. a true legend
when you talked about the Minecraft longest noteblock is 4 minutes long video, i thought I might have a longer video of redstone music that lasted 25 minutes +
but then I only realized it is using command blocks for the music note, not noteblock
welp
Lovely to see you again TheMisterEpic.
There is a server called simpvp that has been around without any resets since April 2011. It's day counter has passed 2,000,000.

Look at the pinned comment. He was fighting the disease for 10 years. His friend din't know anything about vtubers continuing his project and uploaded his friend last video
When I was 5-7 years old I literally spent my whole time on my iPad making a super long railroad track. The thing is that I though it was fun lol. I prob placed 10000+ powered rails and I might have the record for longest hand placed track on mcpe (don’t know what the record is tho lol)
