I believe this is the one of the most difficult clutch and dual mass wheel replacement. You need to dismantle half of the car to get access to the clutch plate. Well done Kevin. Love your videos!

All the same tech as VW & Audi for a 1/3 of the price. I stumbled across your channel as i was looking for someone who's replaced rotors and brakes on a VAG car. Before I watch this video, I'll just comment...
I followed your videos on the Insignia and the Astra (I have the 13 plate SRI Insignia) to help me to do the job myself, because I was well outside of your coverage area. I purchased the Sachs clutch kit (including DMF and new CSC), purchased all of the tools necessary and I followed everything you did on those jobs.
    The end result?
SUCCESS! And I can't thank you enough again for your videos. You inspired me and gave me the confidence to do it myself and it was a 110% success. Of course, the job took me 10 hours opposed to - how long does it take you? 4 or 5?
The DMF was battered and needed grinding off, the pressure plate bolts were rounding off and I had to find equivalents to replace (could hardly get them off without drastic measures) and every step of the way seemed to throw something new at me - really gave me a challenge.
I'm now all beat up from doing it - especially my right hand from trying to get to that evil bolt on the back of the starter motor - you know the one?
How do you do this every day? Are you a machine? Big kudos to you.

Lee what a day you’ve had by the sound of it. Firstly., the main thing is you got it done 🍻🍻
Now that is a baptism of fire on your first one you get the flywheel spin. And you managed that. And secondly yes. That infamous starter bolt.
Hats off to you and really glad to hear the video came in handy.

Great one! It seems that the left axle shaft was changed. And for sure it needs new brake discs. It is strange a rusty bolt in the battery base. Too much condensation, maybe. Thanks a lot for the video!

It’d been parked up for a while. That bolt I had to use the bolt extractor to get it out. As the head was rusted out

Pretty much every car I've owned has had one rusty bolt in the battery box. I'm pretty sure they design them that way out of spite.

Getting the box under there, yes that's old school style.

The amount of corrosion on such a new car is surprising, I wonder if you could use hammer right or something similar to protect it , since it’s open to the elements

Hi, is the slave cylinder the same on a 2013 Octavia 2.0 diesel, engine code CFHC or is it the external type?
    Regards, Steve.
