We Adopted A Dog In Sweden (Maltese Puppy!!)

- Ever since last year and the tragedy of losing our precious angel Cali prematurely due to unknown circumstances ( • The Worst Trip To Paris ), we have longed to welcome a new puppy into our lives. However, we wanted it to be the right situation and as so many dogs are up for adoption, rehoming and stuck in shelters, we started to look for a new member of the family that we could rescue. In Sweden this can be tricky, but by some miracle a little Maltese entered our lives, and is now a part of our family. Watch in this weeks video how we go from no puppy, to Matcha the Maltese entering our home and our hearts.

A little about us 🇺🇲🇸🇪
Morgan is from the USA and Will is originally from Sweden. We met while working together in Germany in 2018 and have ever since tried to find a place to call home. In January of 2022 Morgan finally received a positive decision on her residency application in Sweden, so for now we know where we will call home. We look forward to share with you the challenges and differences between our cultures, and how it works when they meet in our relationship. We very much love each other, but do we love everything about where we are from? Is Sweden as good as everyone says, and is America more than all of its stereotypes?

He is such a cute Maltese puppy.
Saw that he was discolored under the eyes, seems like the eyes are watering, but you have probably already observed that.

Hej my friends. It's Lora Dawn here, but I will mainly comment from this channel now because I am here most of the time and watching your vids from here.
I was crying with you at the end when you were holding him and had butterflies in the beginning... I have never had a dog because I think I will fall in love so much that I would not be able to handle the end ... So I have had cats my whole life. The current one has been with me for the last 10 years and has lived in 5 cities and has now travelled 3800km to be in the north of Sweden with us. I love her, but I feel that I would have much deeper connection with a dog, so I might get one when I get older, but not at this time in my life...
I feel like a lot of people have dogs in Sweden (volvo, villa, vovve) so we will probably join them in some years on all 3. So far we have only villa.

Cats are great as well, but for us it’s just dogs all the way. Just feels right. Maybe you’ll find the right pup in the end as well, we promise you that you will feel it :)
