Gotta give it up for his wife . A good woman will always keep you on track
I was thinking this the whole time
Or a good man if your into that kinda stuff
Pppp
nope cant work like that buddy@@Tonyis138
👏👏👏well said
His wife stood by his side! Major reason of his success
For a fake story, I guess
he is a fraud and all this was bullshit
@@DerekmilewskiI think it was supposed to be a inspirational movie about not giving up on your dreams, idk just came up with it by watching 😐
he was a good husband so she did!
Acha 😂😂😂
I really liked this recap and then I found out this whole movie is a lie. While he was a janitor who helped to develop a product and earned his way up, it wasn't Flamin Hot Cheetos. Frito Lay had to do their own investigation into it after a last week actually worked on developing them found out about this story.
@stevenrod100 Cheeto’s
C'mon man!!!!
Btw he didn’t even make hot cheatos it was this one women
Info, Richard Montanez created Flamin Hot Popcorn, not Flamin Hot Cheetos. Anyway, Lynn Greenfeld was the actual creator.
supposedly
Anyways shoutout us mexicans ❤
Even though this story is false, I love the storyline. Quite an exciting movie to watch! Enjoyed it.
Yeah, he goofed with the whole "CEO Enrico" bit. Enrico didn't join Frito Lay until 1991; well after Flamin Hots were out in test markets.

14:49 the real Richard and Judy Montanez made cameo on the this film as extras receiving the marketed flamin cheetos..
The support from his wife is very special ❤❤❤
It’s a woke movie. I’m suprised a bisexual is not in this.
@@kerosenefire8988 Why is it woke?

he was a good husband so he deserved a supportive wife
I wish every hardworking man finds a Good wife like that 😊
Bruh. Judy aged like fine wine
It’s a movie 🤣 all actors are fine wine.
Judy never left his side. We know which women would not be so patient and loyal.....shhhhhhhh. They dont want factory workers....
I'll take "Things that never happened" for 500
its almost exactly what happened, but there was no buisness meeting.
i know a guy who loves flaming hot cheetos so much that he usually crush a bag of it and mix it with his own made fried rice.
Guyanese?
@justsayin2085 that doesn’t sound awful just not the whole bag jeez 😂
Fun Fact: Its based on the real Richard Montanez who is actually in 14:49 in glasses and the lady in white blouse is the wife, that's the real Richard Montanez.
woah thanks thats p cool
The real liar lol
As someone who doesn’t like flaming hot Cheetos, this was a cool story
its a bullshit story based off a lie. Frito came up with it themselves dude wasn't even working there when they were market testing it.
It’s false tho, even the CEO never remembered any meetings like that
@@coffeelink943 Not all cool stories are true homie. There’s a lot cool false stories out there. It’s called fiction. There’s a whole section in the library dedicated to it. Would it have been cooler if it were true… yeah maybe but it still was a enjoyable movie.

Oh and one of my friends is half Indian half Native American and she doesn't mind them.

Thank you for sharing your story
Sorry to disappoint, he's right. Thos guy had nothing to do with Flamin' Hot. He wasn't even part of the team that created this product. Looks like he started his story in the mid 2000s. Either way it's definitely just a story. A fake story. 😔
Finally someone that did their research. stories complete bullshit
Still was good movie
So was he not a janitor in the company who then was promoted to executive..
Irregardless if this story is true or not, it is inspirational. Like a Latino version of the pursuit of happiness.
Despite of all these sad people here. I enjoyed the Story and the video. Im sure there are lots of people in the world like the main protagonist. More blessings to all
Boricua Hispanic indian n black IAM.. I say wow that was a true story. Never to late to be what you want to be. God bless you.
Judy is such a good "Lays"
Abosoltely awesome , learning and confidence is key, some times you have to tell a good lie to let people believe you so no one gets in trouble, if you know something cause someones always going to be offended
To all the people who want to watch It: It's on disney+ And it's called Flaming hot
amazing wife at home, real friends, deleting pride aside. nothing stoping you
the fact that judy was acting as a side character in 14:48 is crazy
these are the kind of movies that will give you tears :'')
Except It was Fake, Unfortunately
@SuhadiSadono99 of course its fake, its a Hollywood movie! But the inspiration it brings is as ever real as anything! One love!
@@hedwigugla8836 One Love, Homie..
Bro could have just started his own factory he even did the marketing himself
Richard Montanez did not invent Flamin Hot Cheetos. He simply stole credit from those who did. There's a entire LA times article debunking his involvement.
Judy is the real hero of this movie.
Lol...dude didn't save Frito Lay from bankruptcy. 30 year employee, never has been a risk of Frito Lay going into bankruptcy
His wife is the perfect representation of ride or die
You know you should thank the creator of Cheetos since it’s my favorite brand of snacks
Yes the guy that this is being attributed to worked for Lays, yes he was a valued employee, but the flaming hot idea was something McCormiks sent to Lays and this whole thing is a feel good fake.
From humble beginnings to fiery success.❤❤❤
Literally😂
great movie man, we don't get happy movies like this anymore
Society tells us to give up so that there are less people in the race.Back in the 70s when I was in school that was the message that was pushed on me by everyone. Family teachers friends.for a long time I accepted this for such a long time.in my late teens I changed that and Life got better it wasn't easy .Only I learned to play the game that was society and how to be a part of the winning team. Never give up.
I will never give up on what I love, thank you for this massage

Why the judge at 1:30 looked like Gregg Popovich? Lol
I work for frito lay as a Packaging Machine Operator this guys chip is made literally all over the plant.
A clever employee who comes up with a terrific idea is rarely recognised by the senior managers in corporation. Many who reach the highest wrungs get there because they are good administrators or accountants. If a creative from junior levels approach them with a good idea, they will steal it, they will sack the employee or will bury the idea because of jealousy.
If you are lucky enough to create the good idea, explore developing it outside the company. Do your own research, market it over the internet, start small, use your employers clients, then quit your job. Corporations are beasts so treat them like one.
Well you would be dissapointed to learn that this whole charade is a scam and a simple corporate lie.
@@stepankrabik3428 yes, you are probably 💯
The American dream is a lie. Corporations are there to make their investor rich and working people are just a cheap labour resource.
Just think if he had broke out on his own and done it. He still had the old school mentality of caring about your company. Because it took care of you after 20-30 years. Because it supported you and your community and your children etc.. But around this same time those corps became international conglomerates. So detached from their "communities" that built them, that it became irrelevant. They shipped the jobs over seas at the expense of those communities to gain more profits, more dividends and growth for stockholders and more bonuses for the executives.
A small, independent person of no large means, education or connections would have been squashed by a larger firm. If he had made any traction, they would have "borrowed" the idea and put him out of business.
holy shit do some research dude wasn't even working there when they started the test marketing of flammin hot this story is based off a lie. while he did help the brand he didn't create it at all.
@@NickPCage I did, and I found what you say, but then found other things saying the opposite of that. In the end, I don't really care who invented them and it wasn't even remotely close to the main point of my comment.
Prone to bullying and prone to getting bullied are two different things.
When the king is low his queen have to stand up
Very inspirational ❤
this guy didnt actually develop the flaming hot cheetos. its a myth
So is god but guess what?
@@ZaeOSWS what does that even mean. You must be those libtards. Trump 2024
The video does give frito lay credit saying they had a chemical formulation but not a natural one. He came up with the natural formulation. Unfortunately, Roger Enrico isn't alive to confirm the story but the store manager does verify his story. And them saying he didn't "invent" flaming hot doesn't mean he didn't formulate a different flavor. You have to ask yourself how did he become an executive starting as a janitor? He obviously provided tremendous value to the company.

America is the country that made the biggest contribution is lessoning racism by bringing people from every nation together and having them be together. You don't understand how divided the world was before the US compared to how it is today.
