The Church Studio is a historic recording studio that was built in 1915 as Grace M.E. Church. It came to life in 1972 when Leon Russell, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer and Grammy Award-winning artist, purchased the old church and turned it into an analog recording studio and home office to Shelter Records. Teresa Knox, a Leon Russell fan and Tulsa native, purchased The Church Studio and has brought it back to life as a professional analog and digital recording studio, event center, audio engineering school, entertainment network, and home to The Church Studio Archive.

Great job on doing justice too Joe Cocker. It makes me think of the Verse from the Animal, " I'm just a Soul who's intentions are good, oh lord please don't let me be misunderstood"
