Absolutely loved this video Karl. You're doing such a good job helping other tourists coming to India! Cheers!
Dude, this guy will definately know the word "banana", as he is only selling bananas...đđđ
I recently found your channel and being a New Zealand born Indian, I can not speak to any Hindi without sounding like an NRI (non-resident of India). My parents haven't been big on the Hindi lessons so I just pick up phrases said around the house, but whenever I'm in India and I start talking to anyone, they will immediatly know I'm not from India and I cannot respond back to them. So thank you for making this channel for people like me, trying to understand their roots and having a fun time doing so. AND a Kiwi is documenting this journey, I cannot be prouder of our little nation.
Thank you! Keep practicing, you'll get there in time. I'm making a video on how I learn soon too.
I lived in India off and on for 4 years as a foreigner, and the structure of your videos is really well thought out. This is a great way to pick up language, and learn some skills for learning even more âin the wildâ. Well done!
Karl, can you teach more Hindi? That was the best Hindi lesson ever. Way better than anyplace I have found on the world wide web. Thank you so much. Dhanyavaad.
Have you started learning hindi language? I can help you with it.
@@avanishmishra1069 maybe he didn't start but I did weeks ago. I need help

Great vid Karl, Please Please do more learning Hindi videos...
I have been watching so many of your videos recently, this was a find! I work in the airline industry and Indian flights are always a bit challenging when someone like me is not used to the culture. I always try to be polite and respectful, that's my rule of thumb, but I like to try and go the extra mile for our guests, so I will definitely take this language tips for my next flight and use them not only onboard but also when I get the chance to go out and explore Delhi and other places. Your videos also gave me more confidence to travel inside Delhi, after so many horror stories from colleagues. Thank you so much for your amazing content and maybe one day I will be able to greet you in Hindi in the streets of Delhi!
You earned a subscriber... Good video Karl... You Rock.... đ€

Whenever you go to fruit stands like this. Pick the fruit that sits in the front. Otherwise, he will give you the older less desirable ones that no one sees. He gave you the shittier bananas mate. Never-mind, you chose 60 rupee bananas.
Jane Leelavathi yes, you are Right..

Hey dude, I've been using these phrases for the last two weeks and it's been amazing!
To anyone who is on the fence about learning these, definitely do it. It's made my trip in India 10 times better and the response from the locals is incredible. Do it! Learn some Hindi.
Yup. It really makes me sad when arrogant locals irritate foreigners like for selfie and insisting to buy things and tourists can't say NO word or Nahi chahiye.
Please keep this up. Amazing video. Keep showing our culture to the world please.

Bananas are mesureb by no. Of pcs rather than.. weight.. i think...
Called Darjan or 12 pcs
diffrent city different norms ,
mumbai its dozen , jaipur its Kg . . . .
bhai agra m kg k hisab se milte h mrko bhi last month pta chla
Here in madhya pradesh its also Darzen.
1kg kele bhut ajib lagta hai sunne me
It depends on what unit of measure is the vendor buying it in, units or kgs. Generally the larger stores would sell it in kgs and smaller ones in units/dozen.
dozon thik hai
