The US interviews are always on different levels and eye opening, as an immigrant, you can easily get work through STEM especially the health sciences. Bro Ghana is good when you have money to establish yourself so don't worry, look at the way our other people are relocating.

Relocating may be good sometimes but please research to where you want to relocate to before you make any move because the idea of relocating is different from relocating finally at least go to the place and stay for a while before finally relocating.

When we say America is boring we don’t mean there is no freedom here oo. We mean there is no social life here. Everyone is busy rushing to work. Even on your day off your best friend might be scheduled to work so there is never a good time to link up like we do in Ghana. Also when you step outside the streets are always empty. It’s like a soulless society. Everyone is rushing to work. No time for simple human interactions. That’s why some people go crazy and shoot randomly. Lack of social interaction affects people’s mental health. This is problems makes all the opportunities here look useless. Like what is the point of having a big house when friends can’t come and visit . Many Ghanaians live in empty big mansions in America and are always lonely. No amount of money is worth your inner happiness but due to poverty many Ghanaians will do anything to remain abroad.

In people that work, leave home around 5am and come back home around 6pm like here.
When you are unemployed, you are always outside 24/7.
Even the host said the same thing.
When I was in Ghana, I only saw my uncle during the weekend and week days after 7pm.

@@realkumasi it’s not about the work routine of course in Ghana my uncle who owns a shop in Adum and Okaishie is only home on Sundays. But at least we have a social life in Ghana. After shop he can sit somewhere with friends and drink a bottle or 2 . It’s not like here in America where you have to rush home because all your friends probably are working. But in Ghana, it is the same thing. You just mentioned that you see your uncle on Sundays only.
In Ghana, how can you socialize when the employment is high. And the cost of living is more expensive than the US.
The minimum wage is 18 ghc/day, and a beer is around 12-15 ghc at the pub.

Not everybody wants a social life. When u get to my age (senior citizen) u have seen all the happy & sad times. Chilling at home with family is the ideal thing personally. One can created his or her own happiness. U draw your conclusion as if you have statistics to back your assertion. I don’t live in a big mansion. I enjoy home with my spouse. My kids are grown & leading their own lives.
