I feel you man ! The first day I got overseas I said the same thing at a point in one area I found myself I was like damn ! Is this abroad ! Home is even better until I got to the main city and my mind changed lol
I always say that you cannot compare your situation to anyone else's. People often project their problems onto everyone. I see it as purely individual experience/s. You can compare doctors in 2 countries and strike a difference but how can you compare a manager in US to a cleaner in UK?? Clearly they are different levels of income, so we need to stop that silly comparison. Every country has its pro and cons but once you understand the system and place yourself in a position to live a meaningful life.
