    i got it on release and its fast as hell. even years later it is still the same speed. humidity/sweat doesn't affect it but i wish they came in thicker+softer sizes for a bit more control but for the value it's so good.

      yeah it’s easily accessible and last long! I have hyperx pulsefire mat it’s like slower than razer strider

    I’ve been using the strider for 2 years and I like its speed, mainly the dynamic friction, I wonder if there is something slightly but still has low dynamic friction, bc I play tracking games a lot but I also play tac fps so I’m trying to find a good middle ground, smooth glide left and right but still can flick and stop good, but there’s so many mousepads nowadays

    • @ryanhostudio

      the lamzu energon is the other mousepad that feels faster but it’s base is slightly softer so you could push into pad to control it a little more

    What do you recommend for someone who play apex and valorant? Had Artisan fx zero or saturn/saturn pro in mind...

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  Před 2 měsíci

      razer strider is fine i would probably go artisan zero since its faster than saturn pro. For a game like apex smoother glide is better since you need to track targets more

    Hey Ryan, as you said the surface feels like sandpaper, and from what I know the sandpaper has a rough surface and is not kind to your skin, with that in mind, I feel like I wouldn't be able to play more than an hour on that thing and moving my hand and wrist constantly. Should I opt for RAZER GIGANTUS V2 then ?
    I might play some fps like COD but mostly solo story driven but I still want the option to be able to play FPS properly if I choose to do so...
    Would appreciate your response, cheers.

      i think gigantius or any cloth surface would be a safer choice if the texture will bother you

      @@ryanhostudio I've been researching and it seems like Artisan got the best mousepads in the market, and Steel series QCK as an alternative to that.
      Every video I've watched has been sayin Zero, Hayate Otsu, Hien are the best from Artisan and people can't recommend them enough, even though they seem to be a bit pricey for a mousepad.
      But the thing is I originally wanted a XXL mousepad and Artisan doesn't produce them in that dimension.
      Very indecisive what to get now lol...

      @@ramtins9258 tried the artisan i mean it’s just a mousepad. Problem with artisans in my opinion is there expensive and hard to get, you have to ship them in and everything by than my friends have spent over $80 on a mousepad…it’s just a mousepad

      @@ryanhostudio yeah exactly, it's hard to get and quite expensive, in my country it's on sale for around $110.
      While the performance and quality is exceptional, I'm not sure 110 dollars is justifiable for a mousepad...

    • @ryanhostudio

      it’s a rougher texture compared to cloth pads so i think less dirt will seep inside but it’s also more textured so it might trap small particles

      @ryanhostudio  Před 3 měsíci

      this mousepad will be very fast and smooth definitely won’t give you stuck in feeling. Tracking is much easier on these type of mousepads in my opinion, higher likelihood you find this mousepad much faster than what you were using before

    Hey there,
    I really need your honest opinion on this. I bought the viper v3 pro BUT the skates feel pretty fast on my razer gigantus v2, especially compared to my superlight 2 that on the same pad they the superlight provides me with the best speed / control balance. What are the best pads that I could try out so I can use my viper v3 pro that are slower than gigantus v2 but not completely slow. (please send me more than 1 in case the high quality saturn / neptun recommendation / etc are not available in my country) - note that my 8years old qck Steelseries pad is on the "too slow" side (not sure if its because its worn out or just the pad type)
    Would it be more worth to look into Razer DAV3 Faker and take that one? (I heard the skates are different on that one and I would suppose they dont glide as much as the viper v3 pro ones..?

    • @ryanhostudio
      @ryanhostudio  Před 3 měsíci

      so the viper v3 pro have virgin ptfe skates which make them fast, and the mouse is also pretty light as well making it even faster on mousepads because of lighter friction thats the nature of most of these higher performing mouse. My slowest pad I have is the hyperx pulsefire mat you could give it a try, its pretty affordable.
      the dav3, its still pretty fast moving skates, probably feel slower because mouse is bigger and more palm grip and is heavier as well.
      Suggestions is probably try slower mousepad or lower sensitivity to compensate. I ended up lowering my sens by like 20 or 30% after i moved to faster and smoother mouse/mousepads. There are also mouse replacement feet to that may be slower but i havent played around with those before. Hope that helps
