Oh WOW!! I was 8 yrs old when I saw this movie in the theater. We acted out this movie on the playground. LOVE ET! They still have the ET ride at Universal Studios in FL, and the wait line is like being in the middle of the forest with ET. Thanks for bringing back so many great memories by seeing all these scenes in this CLASSICLY AWESOME movie!! Thanks Jordan!
Love this play by play of all the scenes!! I was 7, saw it three times in a row at the theater, and about a million times since, I cry every time😂 One of my all-time favorites❤️
I remember seeing this movie with my mom. She cried at the end when et said I’ll be right here.
Being that E.T. was my daughter's very first movie, to days vlog brought beautiful memories to the for front. Thank you Jordan!!!
Loved E.T. it was a once in a lifetime movie.
Always good to see Jah! ET is my favorite 80's movie. I still can't get over that Gilligan's Island was filmed in Echo Park!
E.T. was the absolute best movie ever made in the 80's hands down! ❤ that little guy! There was another nod to Star Wars besides the trick or treating Yoda. During the scene where Elliot is showing ET different things in his room and trying to teach him what they're called, he shows him his Star Wars action figures. 😁
I had a friend who had a house like theirs, but it was built in 1982. The interior was like that of the house in the film, with the Jack and Jill closet and such, has a green house rather than a shed, and it has a pool. Had a 3/4 scale tennis court but he built a pool house on it.
Also, Michael said “Aw, I’m gonna go to jail, and they’ll never give me my license!”
I only saw E.T. once. I cried so much and I haven't been able to watch it again. Great vlog!
I lived in Porter Ranch from 1965-77, so I was familiar already with the filming locations, near the park which is called Porter Ridge. We would continually hike in the hills above that to the "three trees", which is Mission peak, elevation 2,771 ft. I would walk to school along that same section of White Oak avenue, with those very majestic Deodar pine trees. I have great memories of living in the area!! Thanks for re-stoking those memories!!
So awesome Jordan..I love ET still makes me tear up everytime
Jahster is such a handsome, smart boy. Sending a belly scratch his way❤
I think E.T. is the first movie I saw as a child. Thank you for bringing back so many happy memories from my childhood. I wanna see The Joker too and glad you enjoyed it!
I am 77 and i still love ET. Thanks much for this
Jahster is enjoying his walk
What makes this movie good is it's shot through the perspective of kids. Or E.T, himself... It's really not about adults or their world. We get clues about the divorce and the mom but to the story it's not important to the story.. it's about the younger people's story...
Such a awesome movie. I remember seeing it at the drive in when it was released.
Brilliant video ! I saw ET at the cinema in our home town, here in Northumberland in England, when I was around 8 years old. I had an ET sticker album too and I remember I stuck the remaining stickers all over my drawers in my bedroom..🙈. It was a big movie and I still hate the scenes where poor ET is ill🤦 I cried in the cinema and I'd probably still cry😭 I'm such a baby, even at age almost 48 🤣🤣🤣. Very enjoyable watch, thank you.
After reading the comments; To ALL of you who have never seen the movie, 'E.T.', I'm not a movie kind of guy but this one is truly a Great movie. And to see Drew Barrymore at that age is a real treat ! Should be able to see it on line for free. It IS worth it . Thanks, Jordan ! Good Video!
Really neat to see it 37 years later.
You know I never have seen the movie!! It came it in 1982, I was 14, so for some reason, I never made it out to see that. Will have to rent it sometime! Thanks for another fun vlog Jordan!
The Ang Endeavor I was 14 too, but I did see it in the theatre with my father :) I think Poltergeist came out the same year if I’m not mistaken?
me to. the digits in my user name are birth year. so i was 14 also.
That was cool to finally get to see where that house actual was . I love that movie and the house . Thank you Jordan for sharing this today !! I loved it !!
Thanks Jordan. This is one of my favorite movies. I saw it when I was a teenager with my mom. We went in not knowing anything about the movie. We actually thought it was going to be a scary movie. I remember all of the emotions and crying my eyes out at the end lol! It was awesome to see on the big screen.
Thanks for doing this. ET is one of my favorite childhood movies. I was about the same age as Eliot and really connected with the movie. I have it on BluRay now and still watch it at least once a year. Best movie ever! It reminds of the freedom of being a child and not knowing everything we now know as adults. Innocence encapsulated in time.
💋I was but a wee babe when E.T. came out lol. But when I did see it, I loved it. Drew Barrymore was adorable in it. Thanks for this. Blessings to U and Jah. ~Love and Light 💖Carli
Henry Thomas born and raised in my city. His cousin was in my same grade level. His uncle taught there also. Everyone knew. You can see the family resemblance. His parents still live here on a farm so you see him around the city all the time.
I remember when this movie first came out. It was such a wonderful cheerful and sad movie at the same time. When the kids started flying on their bikes the audience jumped up and cheered. It was fantastic.
I remember seeing ET on the last day of school with my best friend. Loved growing up in the 70s and 80s. I look back often with fond memories. ET being one of them.
My grandparents used to take me out there all the time! We just took my kids over the summer & they don’t have the old blue boats only the swans 🦢 it was fun!
ET was one of my favorites as a kids!
When I was a kid, my CB handle was 'Star Rover' (from ET the book)...great to see this JtL!
This has been one of my fave filming location vlogs. One of the first movies I’ll always remember from my childhood. Wonderful job!
ET was the first American movie that I saw. It was amazing.
Favorite movie! Went to see it twice. Loved the blog today. Seeing all the locations was great. Thank you Jordan for taking us with you.
I enjoyed seeing the filming locations for E.T. I loved that movie. Thanks, Jordan!
I was surprised to see the poster in the park that had Aimee Semple McPherson’s picture on it. She founded my church’s denomination back in the 1920’s. She was an incredibly fascinating woman and had quite a life.
E.T. Was my first movie experience at the theater. Good times.
It looks like a peaceful park and lake I love how all the houses are in the background that they slightly go up a hill
I remember seeing ET at a drive-in when it 1st came out. I was 4yrs old, and was so scared of ET that I was crying on my dad's lap, which annoyed my older brothers. I still am scared of him...lol. Skylar and Madisyn like him though. Have a great day
Aww Jah is all excited to go to the park he is so cute ! :-) Gosh i remember going to see ET when it came out and i am not ashamed to say i cried ... it's still a great film today . Lovely vlog Jordan ! :-)
Thoroughly enjoyed today's blog... Echo Park/Lake, ET filming locations, and the Joker movie feedback. Jah is precious! Thanks for sharing your vlog with us!
I was eighteen when this movie came out and I saw it on the big screen. It has stood the test of time. Wonderful vlog Jordan!
Thanks for this. I remember going to the movies as a kid to watch ET. It was a magic moment in movie history. Never forget.
I remember going to the movie theater to see ET when it first came out with my parents. So good to see the filming locations for it. Thank you for sharing that with us.
This was very nostalgic for me. I had the opportunity to watch ET last night with my daughter. It immediately took me right back to when I was a kid! I’ve always enjoyed your content
We went to see E.T. on the opening night...it was and is a classic.
Wow Jordan, you are up early!!!! TY for ET!! I was an adult when it was released, but I remember taking my daughters, and their excitement!!! I loved it to!! I love the ET ride at Universal Orlando!! Have not been in quit awhile, so I do not even know if it is still there!! Of to church, have a great Sunday everyone!!
Echo park is nice, the swan boats, wildflowers. Another cool vlog with a super backstory, thank you Jordan
E.T. loved the movie!! I also enjoyed King of Comedy, watched it many times!! Certain movies draw me in and I am compelled to rewatch! Thanks Jordan!!
🦁 Jordan, I still have my ET stuffed doll and DVD. This vlog had me smiling. Another, Great vlog! 👏🏼💕👏🏼
Lovin it!! Thanks just watched ET the other night still makes me cry :( thanks for taking us on a wonderful trip back to ET!!!
I could sit in echo park and people watch and the view for hours
I can't start my day until I watch what the heck you're up to first! 😆
Such a classic movie!! I loved it. Steven Spielberg is such a creative genius. Echo Park looks pretty. Jah just makes my day. The little man about town😁. Thank you, Jordan. I think I will watch E.T. today. Much love to you and Jah ❤❤❤🦁
One of my all time favorites. Thanks for the great video Jordan!
Just watched ET again last week and it is classic! I was thinking for cool lit would be to visit the actual house and then here you are! Great video - thanks for sharing your adventures :)
Hi Jordan, well, it looks a beautiful park and very relaxing. WOW! What a lovely neighbourhood, there are some really nice houses where that was filmed. I haven't seen E.T. since it was on at the pictures, I had a tear in my eye. Great vlog Jordan.
Wow, blast from the past. I saw E.T. on one of my first dates at a drive-in theater in Long Beach, California. Thanks so much Jordan for the behind the scenes location shots 👍. And thanks for the walk through Echo Park. See world... Los Angeles DOES have some beautiful nature scenery... not just concrete and palm tree! 🙏' s for safety and health, Jordan and Jah 😘🤗. See you gents later 😺.
i work as a background extra in filming in Chicago and always interesting to be at the real filming location and then see the final scene on film. Thanks for all your hard work and knowledge
I have been meaning to ask you to do a Vlog on E. T. So thank you! We saw this when it first came out in the theater in Newport Beach. The line was super long! We all at work went crazy over this movie, even bought an ET doll. When the video came out, we watched it all the time. When we had kids, we introduced them to it and they love it and watch it every year. It makes sense that the Forrest scenes are in Northern California. Such a great story, with the kids no longer having a father that lives with them- Spielberg is a Genius !! My favorite movie! Yes, agree if it came out today it would still be a huge hit!
Aw I too saw E.T in the theater on its initial release in 1982 but I was only 3 months old so obviously have zero memory of it. My mom, aunt and cousins then took me to its rerelease in 1985 when I was barely 3 and even though they say I sat quietly and watched the whole movie i have no memory of that either! Wasn't until 1988 when it was finally released on home video that my stepfather bought me a copy for Xmas and I watched the hell out of it. For the 2002 20 year anniversary release my mom, aunt and cousins and I all attended it again and it was an awesome experience. Such a nostalgic movie and there wasn't a dry eye in that theater. I introduced my 5 year old son to the movie when he was 4 and he loved every part except for when E.T screams and you see that huge mouth and bugged eyes ..it sends my son running out of the room 😂 E.T will always have a special place in my heart ❤ as well as the hearts of many of 70s and 80s babies Plus its timeless. Children of any generation can enjoy it as well. Some of the effects look a little dated sure but that's to be expected in a film nearly 38 years old. I love the way the neighborhood in the film looked as a child and its nice to see it hasn't changed much
The city the ET house is at is called Tujunga ca., I live a half mile from the house I go walking by the house all the time
Very nice area.
Was Poltergeist filmed in the same area?
@@sonnyblack71 Poltergeist was filmed in Simi Valley, CA.
I can only imagine the property value now...
I grew up in SFV in Northridge. Great review of all the filming sites! Yes everyone that lives in the area knows about the filming locations. Thank you Jordan!
You know, I'm going to make a real effort to visit the home where Elliot lived. E.T. is one of my favorite movies and as a kid, I never imagined I would ever have the chance to be there in person. Thanks for uploading this video.
This was awesome!! Also, thank you for showing screen grabs from the movie so we can see what it looked like back then.
Thankyou for this vlog. Growing up ET was my all time fav movie watched it everyday lol
I was born the year E.T. came out. By the time it made it to vhs ( probably 87 or 88, no kidding) I watched it with my mom and will always remember it as being the first movie that made me cry. I was just a little kid and very confused about the crying lol
A friend and I went to the drive-in and sat on the hood of his Dodge Dart and watched this movie.....it was like a 1970 Dodge Dart which wasn't a classic yet but was only a old grandma car handed down to him as it was just a 12 year old car...……...We had no idea that "run of the mill" movie was going to be what it turned out to be.
This was the first movie I remember seeing at a drive-in. I was about 5 or 6. 🎥 🍿
I'm subscribe to your CZcams channel now..love that you went to the E.T location! One of my favorite movies as a kid..so much Nostalgic moments thanks for bringing back those feels my friend! Keep up the great work..you will make it big!

Love this video. Wonderful day. Love ET movie and yes like others mention, Stand By Me and Goonies. Thank you so much Jordan.
awesome video Jordan i love ET
Great vlog my friend! I think every kid from the 80's had an E.T. toy of some fashion, I know I did. However, I thought I needed therapy after seeing the new Joker movie, lol.
ET is one of my favorite movies. Loved this vlog.
I love how you referred to the Duckweed as "Brown Goo". That made me chuckle.
I continue to love your videos.
Aw. Sweet memories of one of my favorite movies. I agree. There should be an E.T. statue at the park!
I was born and raised in Los Angeles and never knew how practically everything is filmed out there in my home town!! I'm from Highland Park near the 110 freeway about ten minutes away from downtown.
Nice work love E.T and Reese's Pieces ☺
Love ET! Thanks Jordan! Hi JAH!!!
i love ET one of my favorite movies as a kid
Great job! Always like to see the places still look the same :)
First time I ever went to a movie knowing nothing about it! I experienced ... first was a scary feeling ... then when Gertie came home from school and they scare each other and scream ... sooo funny! Then sad when ET is taken by the Government ... then laughter again when they do the bicycle escape then sad again when ET goes home! GREAT MOVIE!🌹
Love E.T. and I enjoyed seeing the movie locations. Jah is too cute! He is so happy to go to the park!🐾❤ I've been wanting to see the Joker movie.

Great vlog. I remember seeing E.T. when it came out. I also went on the E.T. ride they had at Universal Studios. I also bought E.T. souvenirs in the gift shop. Fun Fact: Neil Diamond saw this movie and went home to write the song "Heartlight" and put it on his "Heartlight" album. I heard that they filmed Gillian's Island in Echo Park. I guess that's why they keep the bridge closed. To keep the people away. Glad Joker was good. They were planning trouble just before it opened but so far I haven't heard anything. Thank for taking us around and showing us some of where they filmed E.T. I too hope E.T. could even be a hit today. We need movies like that more. Safe Travels and Take Care.
