Mao, the 10 rifts in a week thing DOES work. But it doesn't drop from the 10th chest/pillar/boss. It is tracked by an item all the way at the bottom of your codex. Once you have done 10, you can click collect on it. It worked for me last week. Haven't tried yet this week. By the way, when the patch first dropped the entry in the codex IN GAME did say it was daily. However when I tried to do it the next day it stayed 10/10 completed. They have since hot-fixed it to have the description completely removed. My counter went from 10/10 to 0/10 when the next week started, so it is definitely WEEKLY in game.

I missed this. Thanks for letting me know about it! I've just noticed this entry in the codex. It is strange because I didn't notice this last week so I guess I forgot to click it and missed out on the item. This feels like something that should at least be mailed into the new week if you forget to click it. Anyway I can see it is 0/10 for me now. I will try again this week and see. So the codex shows 0/10 in this new terror essence counter and the terror essence description says chance increases when 70 are run per week. Overall super confusing I must say

Definetly use 10 terror essences per week either hs bounty or oblivion pilars. Last week i gained 3/3 stat item from codex. Also claim it on sunday right before server lvl increase so you get max lvl item per week with better stats

use 10 terror essence is a weekly task on codex activity. It's way down the bottom. But if you conplete 10 hs bounties, it will go up as the rewards are claimable. When you click claim, that is when you'll get the 3/3 or 3/4 legendary. I got a 3/4 on my main anad a 3/3 on my alt. It works.
The 70 oblivion pillars in the discription is probably a typo.

there is a enraged mode after the 70th essence in the oblivion pillar. I saved 100 and cracked 71 with the double drop prior to the patch. The drop rate was about 30% of dropping a legendary. I got only one triple stats out of that. After patch I cracked the other 30 and got an approximate 50% drop rate and got 3 triple stats.

I don't know Chinese but I am fairly certain for #3 they are just talking about hellslayer bounties. The 'berserk' part is basically just flavor text effectively saying "when you make your bounty go crazy by spending a terror essences to turn it into a hellslayer bounty...blahblah."

Why should one invest so much time in farming all this stuff that is going to be replaced 3-4 weeks later?

Drop chance was great the first day of patch.
id something like 18 oblivion pillars and I only had 3-4 that I didn't get loot from. The rest all had drops and some had double drops to compensate for the few misses.
Told my clan to run them because I knew it would get stealth nerfed and here we are haha.
Info in the video is interesting. I did more than 10 terror essences last week but I didn't get any 3/4, however, I did get one today very early into the reset. Not sure if just a random coincidence or not, who knows.
Did you notice the new text on the Terror Essence itself? The bit that says the drop chance on Eternal gear will increase after doing 70 oblivion pillars in one week.
Not sure how they intend us to do that lol. But delusion is part of the program now

Patch notes are always a sloppy mess. Missing info, stealth editing or removing, changing without notice, global notes differing sharply from the Chinese notes. We've got multiple clusters reporting that their Immortals are being 1 shot in the RoE, some providing video of it, and lossing out on Blessed Reigns with no comment on the problem from Netease or Blizzard. And yet they slap out a new resonance system, a phantom market, a new 5* legendary gem, and the phantom gallary all at the same time lol.
Must be an earnings call coming up soon because they're throwing out the money trap but don't care to address some of these major problems. I love this game but it would be nice to feel like more than a spare wallet sometimes.

I did this last week, got a 3-3 item! Thank you Mao! I thought this would reset every week on Monday so I can get 10 Terror Rifts and use them to unlock the Codex Reward…
Now this week starting fresh…. Codex says 0 of 10. When I checked the rewards icon, it only says 1-2 attributes and 1 magic!!! Did Blizz nerf this already?! It would have been nicer if Blizz would give us a 3-3 or 3-4 once a week for using the 10 Terror Essences farmed from the Terror Rifts! One 1-2 or 1-2 for all that farming? Come on Blizzard!!!

Ran 4 pillars 2 days ago and didn’t receive any new legos items or essences drops as stated..not accurate statements via blizz, disappointing for sure plus out the essences?!

On our server NOBODY puts terror essences on the market lol, they have never been in stock, we use them we don't sell them

Try to Reset/Repair your game or try on another PC/Device. I have heard of people purchasing things in the shop and not getting what they paid for in rare cases. If all else fails then try to contact Blizzard Support!

I did 2 terror rifts today, and only have 1 terror essence.

Did you complete 4 spires in each rift? The pity drop only applies when you have completed 3 with no drop. In that case it is guaranteed to drop after killing the boss in the 4th spire

That game is one big fuckin mistake. Random dungeons not giving guaranteed set item after 7 runs. I did 15 new portal events, and didnt receive single rune or horns. And thats just a little amount of problems with DI. How can they realease an abomination of a patch like this is terryfying.
