The finale is spectacularly played, just like it should be. He knows exactly which kind of expression and tempo you need to play the Adagio Vivace and Molto Adagio parts. The final chord is excellent too with the reed stops added at the top manual. Bravo maestro Hector Olivera!
The best all round organist I've ever come across. Classical organ , Theatre organ & Electronic. What an excellent performance 🎭 I've only managed in years of trying to play about half of it and gave up . I'll leave it to the Maestro 🎉
I would have hugged him before asking him anything. Impressive music in an impressive location with an impressive instrument by an impressive performer.
1: This is so beautiful, well done! 2: The Organ is such a powerful instrument, so amazing! 3: That Frog is so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hector querido!! es un placer escuchar su interpretación magistral.. gracias por compartir esta obra musical con nosotros que estamos sedientos de buena música... un gran saludo de Argentina
Almost . . . he made the first mistake I've EVER heard him make in this performance; he goofed a pedal near the final phrases - I'm STUNNED! Still, I see him as a gift to us all; now I know that even the very best on our planet make a rare mistake. I still, and will ALWAYS see him as my inspiration after being an organist for more than 55 years myself. BRAVO Hector!
There will only be ONE E. POWER BIGGS, but Hector Oliver is about as close as it gets! He blew me away at The Fox Theater in Atlanta on Big Mo, he was phenomenal. And they had JUST put the 32' diapason pipes in the organ it was originally designed to have back in 1929! Awesome bliss.
Heard Hector in Denver play a concert in early 80's. I purchased a C D. of "Intermission At The Fox". It is one of my most treasured theatre organ recordings. He is truely a gifted genius.
That's what I call a PETTY comment. Who cares other than you if the spelling was or not correct? In my book it doesn't lessen the enormous quality of the Maestro's rendition. Please give me a break!!
Master Bach in heaven will be proud if he hear thsi wonderful Interpretation................This is the best........ And then this idiotic audience........
Je suis " outré " des bruits en tous genres émis par le public ! Un non-respect absolu de l'Artiste ! I am "outraged" by the noises of all kinds emitted by the public! Absolute disrespect for the Artist!
He should practice more piano etudes like Chopin or Liszt, because his fingers are always stiff ! He is more Hobby organist, not very professional like Latry, Roth, Oosten, Walcha or Dupre.
Id not worry about it , all organists use pistons to change registrations during a performance. He will set it up before his concert. I've been to many concerts and they always use pistons . It won't bother them 👍
@@jacquelinebishop8465 It's still a terrible, lazy design. A lot of the distant stops the organist is looking at them from a 60 degree angle. These designs often show up in China and Japan for some reason.

The toy frog is complementary to the atmosphere of the performance

THE BIG MAESTRO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wow! Watch out Diane Bish!
A couple of errors here and there but definitely passionate and you can tell he studied and really enjoyed this piece a lot.
Go to the dome of Passau and play again. 🎯
Wow I Loved This Horror Song
8:05 oh
He could play tico tico with his feet

That’s one ugly console

Olivera is awesome as usual. But that console design is terrible! The stopboards were laid out by a fool.
