2:28 i got minecraft in 2014, it has been a decade, and i still absolutely suck at the game and can't build anything good looking, since 1.18 tho, usually i just vyild a house into the side of a mountain or underground, then just make the most basic thing, a wooden box, it may not sound like a home, but i have a red bed, the furnace next to the crafting table, chests/barrels for each type of item so i can find my stuff, and of course i have that one junk chest sitting in the corner, at least 3 block high rooms, sometimes i make a H-pattern type underground base.
