Ive seen all these "This is not the freestyle world tour" comments over the last few years and the judges seem to have listened to that. Honestly complete robbery that run was perfect and i tihnk deserved the win for sure a 98 in my book maybe higher.
This should have at least been a podium in my humble opinion. Great runs!

Great run! I also felt it should have been higher in the rankings. However, I think the judging criteria this season is shifting back from freestyle and tricks to high exposure and big cliffs skiing.
And SPEED!
Which is good in my opinion bit still Mr. Chabloz did a great performance, skied well and did huge and difficult tricks.
Thats why Ben won. Two of his 3's were above exposure, at speed.

I think the FWT wants bigger jumps with not very complicated trick, 360, backflip seems enough. This coupled with maximum steepness, speed and fluidity, which might be tricky because you need to be very strong; Hitzig and Richards are very tough.
Also do not stay too much in this mental frustration state, put it in a small drawer and focus on Verbier 💪
They like good skiing ability in difficult terrain, regardless of tricks or not. Ben scored so high because two of his 3's were at speed, directly above cliff bands in the landing.

I'd bet the speed check before the seven gave you the score. No speed check there and they would have given you at least second if not the win. Great work.

Salut Maxime, On est beaucoup a ne pas avoir compris. J'étais en direct et je pensais que tu l'avais. J'ai trouvé les 97 points de Richards vraiment très très haut. Ca fait longtemps que je regarde le FTW tout les ans et j'ai trouvé ça complètement dingue de mettre autant de points au troisième départ (je crois) du Run 2. Jme suis dit c'est impossible de rattraper ça. Puis tu as réussi ton run.
Je ne suis qu'un skieur amateur mais je crois que les juges se sont dit "Ok Maxime on sait que tu sais faire cette ligne, montre nous autre chose." En tout cas continue comme ça, tu fais parti des meilleurs des meilleurs dans l'histoire du ski et ça ya pas besoin de juges pour le comprendre ! Merci

Malheureusement il y a pas grand chose qui peux étre fait et dans les sports de jugement parfois il faut juste accepter mais aussi en parler et pas juste changer sa stratégie pour les juges un autre jous se run aurait pu gagner la compétition mais se jours la les juges ont préféré les autres 🥲
got completely ripped off on the judging for your line. it was absolutely fabulous. honestly 1st shoulda been 4th and this shoulda been podium.
Two of Ben's 3's were landed directly above cliff bands, at speed. The difficulty factor was much more significant when you compare landings and exposure. Maxime had a great run but the judges got it right.
2nd or 1st place in my books. You got robbed bro, which isn't fair. You've been an amazing sport about it. Unfortunately, nothing can be done now, keep your head up for Verbier!
