Joe Marshall my boi I still pvp to this day just make a good build ranged from lvl 40-90. From 40~75 invade in nightmare frontier, and lvl 80+ invade in nightmare of mensis
This is my favorite Fromsoft game by a mile, but to be honest you're not missing much when it comes to pvp in Bloodborne. The net code is a problem in all the souls games, but it's even worse in Bloodborne. I've put probably 1000 hours into DS2 and DS3 pvp. Not saying they're amazing by any means but as far as pvp goes they're way better then Bloodborne. Even though they don't compare when it comes to PVE.
You can still pvp plenty. Get a character to level 100 and you can still have a jolly good time.
pvp is still plenty active, anyone who says otherwise isn't playing the game

The Burial Blade segment with Gehrman and Maria together fighting the Moon Presence which was the one that totally ruined their lives and brought this nightmare to life , really sent chills down my whole body.

AMAZING VIDEO. Only just started Bloodborne last week! First "Souls" game I've ever played. At first I basically hated it , but once I got the hang of it and beat my first boss I can't stop playing!

My first souls game was dark souls 3 and I stopped playing after not being able to beat pontiff and dancer about a year ago, couple days ago i decided to go back to it and change to a bleed build and I absolutely annihilated the bosses that were giving me a hard time. Legit became the boss I was first trying every boss, beat the base game in a day.

Guys I wanted to add honourable mentions before number 1 but I never had the time to make it. They were going to be: Blade Of Mercy(My previous favourite weapon in BB), Simons Bowblade, and Amygdalyn Arm( My current favourite weapon).
One more weapon review to go guys for BB, it's kinda sad in a way but DS3 is on the way and hopefully Bloodborne 2 after that.

Dual katanas were good. Estoc was really, really good. So was Northern Regalia. I think Estoc/NR are probably the most dominant of any weapons in the Souls series in their respective games.
Let's not forget Light Weapon BBS or 1hko Curse DBS. Or pretty much any weapon with CW :/
+Yotunfrau I played LW BBS exclusively and even though it was great you can't compare it too Bloodborne weapons because they have way more variety in their moveset.

Some pretty impressive gameplay in this video, honestly. I got through to getting the platinum by being sure to only take on one enemy at a time, but there's a lot of gameplay in here where he takes on tons of mobs and even multiple PVPers.
The beastcutter is basically fromsoft's answer to everyone who complained that the whips in dark souls were too weak

Simon's Bowblade is actually great, likely the best. Double S scaling on Skill and Bloodtinge, can get as soon as you beat Vicar Amelia, and hits about as fast as the Saw Cleaver, which has the highest DPS of the starting weapons. The attacks are limited, but even so the Bowblade has proven itself as a great PvP choice as well as a boss shredding dynamo. If you want to see how good the weapon can be versus bosses while focusing on the skill scaling aspect of the weapon, see Distortion2's Simon's Bowblade run.
That...that was possibly the sickest, radest, coolest and most badass intro/opening credits i've ever seen. It's like...like someone turned Bloodborne into HBO series and those are the main characters...that would be rad.

I’m currently finishing up the DLC on my first playthrough of Bloodborne. I used Ludwig’s Holy Blade from the time I unlocked it right after reaching Oeden Chapel. I used it through the Nightmare Frontier and then entered the DLC and played until the Hunters Nightmare and unlocked and upgraded the Whirlygig Saw and the Holy Moonlight Great Sword and switched to them have really enjoyed them and most recently just unlocked and upgraded the Church Pick and am going to use it with the Whirlygig Saw and HMGS throughout the remaining Nightmare of Mensis and remaining DLC Research Hall and Fishing Hamlet.
I really enjoyed Ludwig’s Holy Blade. Having come from only playing Sekiro and Elden Ring FromSoft games… I felt the move set of Ludwig’s was easier to learn. However I got comfortable with it and the games combat I really enjoyed Branching out and your videos definitely helped me to decided what weapons were worth investing my time into next.

I still don't understand why people don't like Beast Claws... at least, after The Old Hunters DLC came out. To me, it is the most aesthetically pleasing weapon, and probably has the most entertaining yet challenging move set in the game. While I don't necessarily disagree with the list (the Rakuyo is definitely awesome) I had hoped for at least a mention of the only weapon that can actually make you go beast mode.

Personally, I'm a Threaded Cane man myself. Simple, stylish but takes skill to be great with. I played through my whole first playthrough with nothing but the Cane and I don't regret a thing
I applaud that. Takes huge amounts of skill. I struggled using threaded cane and im a veterane at this game and the souls series aswel.

Definitely my favorite starting weapon, darting back from a crowd and then slicing them up with a transformed L2 combo is one of the funnest things to do
Blades of Mercy. My all time number 1. if you can master the R1,R1,R1,L1,L1,R1 combo ,you can stagger alot of enemies.
All my builds in all 3 playthroughs were based on speed and dexterity. IDK why , but i was never ever a fan of strength builds. Even in Diablo 1 , 2 ,3 i didnt like Barbarian.lol.
@@aleefmohammed244 i usually do dex builds in dark souls but the majority of weapons in bb favor strength. the threaded cane is the only dex weapon for a large portion of the game. it's kind of annoying that there are several strength weapons to choose from early on but no dex weapons to choose from. didnt make much sense to me.

I finished the game, there were still spoilers. I only saw one of the endings, he spoiled another. Good advice, but this is still ridiculous, especially in a multiple ending game like this.

So stop looking up guides and get them, or stop complaining that people are further along since the DLC came out over half a year since the game’s launch. That’s plenty of time for people to get caught up and start getting fancy with their videos.

Even with the existence of Rakuyo, Blades of Mercy is my favorite weapon in Bloodborne: I always play Thieve/Assassin in the Souls games and Bloodborne is no exception, playing fast, dodging and using tight chances to get in your face is always the style I like the most.
My favorite weapon is Logarius' wheel, it does even more damage than the Ludwig holy blade, my favorite used to be the burial blade, but the wheel is not the best, not to mention that is scales unnaturally with strength, literally S scaling, to bad it takes a lot to wield, but I level often, so it's not a problem for me

The Beasthunter Saif provides an entirely different moveset as well as playstyle, I have used both and know them well. The Saif is much better for closing distance, as its attacks move you farther foward than those of either the spear or cleaver. When used to it fullest potential the Saif is a significantly better and more efficient weapon than the two it is most like, however this is counter balanced by the odd combination of moves that the weapon performs.

THE Weapons tier list for this game available on You Tube. The review itself is fair and gives lots of insight, and the editing and extra quality put into this is also phenomenal.
It's really impressive how real, yet balanced this tier list is. It feels like all stat categories: strength, skill, bloodtinge, arcane are included in such a way that none outclass any other. It shows how well done the weapons are done in this game. Any path the player chooses for their weapon configuration and build is all equally viable.
This was extremely well produced. I love how innovative the presentation was. I would say Bloodborne is my favorite Souls game so far and it's going to be difficult to top it with Dark Souls 3.
My favorite weapons are the Blade of Mercy and both of Ludwig's swords. I'm really fond of the concept of a longsword turning into a greatsword and shooting projectiles out of weapons. I didn't know they were top tier before getting them, but I find it funny because in fighting games I used to pick low tier characters by accident all the time.
Me and I know a ton of other people absolutely loved the intro. It was epic and appealed to me. If people give you dumpy feedback, ignore it and go with the good! Keep trucking you glorious beast.

hunter axe is the best weapon period
agreed to some extent, I freaking LOVED that axe early in game, though sadly I was never able to get past any bosses after the cleric beast and father gascgon(?), still up till I had the hammer sword combo the axe was the best to me
