Uttarakhand Rain Alert | Landslides, Overflowing Rivers, Submerged Roads After Heavy Rainfalls

On Wednesday, the IMD released a 'red alert' for heavy rainfall for various districts in Uttarakhand. Pre-monsoon showers have resulted in damaged highways and submerged streets across the state. The overflowing Alaknanda river has nearly submerged the famous Shiva idol in Rudraprayag.
