- The past few months have been great for quest we've had several announcements and updates that make a significant difference to the quest. and this week is no exception with another passthrough update that tries to fix the distortion and we get some extra v66 features also. we also take a closer look at bonelab patch 4 and blade & sorcery 1.0 as well as some new leaks from the new batman VR game and alien VR games and so strap in for another weeks worth of vr news

The Dynamic AI for the Alien game is hopefully gonna lead to so many great moments and so many broken headsets. Assuming they do what they did with Isolation.
For those that don’t know in Alien: Isolation, the alien AI has two “brains”. One brain always knows where you are and feeds hints to the other brain that controls the body, which made it all the more terrifying. The jumpscares were genuine and unpredictable rather than scripted.
If they pull that off in a VR game, I’m excited for what the future of VR holds

BL was like gmod: built off of BW, and aimed around mods
Honestly Bonelab more feels like what S&box is to Gmod, the older-mentally challenged brother who is talented at some things, but in the end its never going to live up to the hype of the original.

bonelab just started being alive again, its almost certianly gonna start having a consistent schedule (if patch 5 DOEs release soon) making it better then boneworks with its physics, player rig, and more.

Face reality, SLZ is working on Marrow (which they can sell), with Bonelabs being lowest priority.

Nomad ain’t dropping 1.0 until later this year :/ don’t the others for waiting even more time. Then again we have patch 4 now I guess. It doesn’t heat up mo oculus no more nor lags.

not exactly, but we know they will start porting it to nomad once the 1.0 update for pc is stable, and that will take a couple months, so an estimate for the release would be around late this year/early next year
@@zk3282 well no, in the last news for 1.0 they literally said the reason the update took so long is because they had to develop two different games essentially, quest and PC. So we get quest and PC at 1.0's launch

V.66 colour passthrough is not much of an upgrade in my opinion. 😢
Same here. I think Meta had announced that the camera software update this time around was to help address the "warping" issues and also the readability of smartphone screen.
Not really too much on the graining correction, but my own better lighting really helps with less graininess.
