My UNFINISHED Sketchbooks and What I'm going to do with them

So, I don't always finish my sketchbooks. This pile has my unfinished sketchbooks that I have abandoned in various reasons. Mainly there was something wrong in the sketchbook, or I had too strict theme limiting me. But mostly, it is the paper.
I will show some of these sketchbooks and talk how I'm going to tackle this pile.
If you have been following my sketchbook tours, you know I have numbering system. And some missing numbers are in this pile!

I have soooo many sketchbooks, with almost as many unfinished :D But when I found my current sketchbooks, I've filled 6 of them and a few of the smaller versions completely. If I want to practice something in particular, I can use any paper or my tablet, my sketchbook tends to be a way to get down ideas or feelings. The old ones are still good reference for seeing where I've grown and the ones that had good paper are now swatchbooks :)

I have a bunch of sketchbooks too, including ones that I've bound myself! The ones I make are usually very slim so it's generally pretty easy to fill those.
The rest though? 😅 well for sure I'm not buying any more. I've had ideas for some books, and so haven't used yet because "I had plans to..." xyz.
I think a big part is just diving in and embracing the ugly doodles that come of it.
