Just wanted to ask if you should wash the rice before soaking overnight? I got the local tuwo rice from the market (plus another recipe I found said to put potash in. Is this necessary?)

Hello. Yes you should wash the rice in case of stones and dirt. If you use my recipe with yeast then you wouldn’t need potash. Thanks for watching.
