I think the music background and editing swamps his talent. His raw talent needs no editing. Yes, it sounds good. Not something I would lean toward though. His raw talent was exactly his unique talent, IMO Hollywood has commercialised something that should never have been commercialised. He is more Paul Simon than some new commercialised entity. NO, I prefer his originality to be honest.

Compare his 'let her go' to this overmanipulated version? It lacks his originality and raw power. NO. Someone is leading him wrong. Mainstream overproduction only reduces his quality. Definitely wrong.
