I achieve Max off-road speed on my Cyrusher Kommoda via derestriction and a Speed controller swap.

In this episode. I show you how to swap a Speed controller unit and remove the speed restriction on a Crusher Kommoda Bike. I also show the effects of these changes on max unloaded speed. Please note that for Legal use on UK roads, it is required that the bike is restricted to 15.5mph of electrical assistance. and that the assistance can only be accessed by turning the pedals.

Ridiculous UK law which deters people from taking up cycling, if I'm paying for an ebike rated for 750 watts output, that's what I expect to get.

I feel that the laws relating to ebikes in the UK will be reviewed soon. Not so much to make us happy, but because the current rules dont assist in moving folk onto Ebikes from Cars as a more common transport method for shorter journeys
