- I can't believe I'm saying this but I actually like the new Among Us update! All the roles, all the changes in the game's design... They have actually done a decent job and left me unnaturally satisfied.
Also omg wow I have a plague doctor mask now!
I played in this public lobby that had some nice players to accompany me and I managed to successfully outsmart them after losing my partner. All hail me mwahahahaaaaaa

I guess they took the "shapeshifting" part of "shapeshifting parasitic alien". The devs actually confirmed that's what the impostors are.
Yea when I saw the role I was just like "ain't that just Impostor with extra steps?"
Its from an old horror film I believe. Where there's a group of scientists and an alien can impersonate any single one of them. So the horror is not knowing if your friend is actually the imposter

Imagine if you have a long time to be disguised, then you can kill someone as their self in a hard to find location, and then just walk around, pretend to be them, and then hide before you get undisguised. That would be a next level mind trick.
I was a shapeshifter one game and blue, who was named red, got the other imposter out, I joked about how they were literally an imposter with that name, and then I thought it would be funny to, after sabatoging lights, shapeshifter into blue, run in and kill someone and run off.
Not a single person even suspected it was a shapeshifter and blue was voted off by everyone.
And the best part is since confirm ejects was off they likely thought it was blue.
0:45 better not shifting infront of vents because engineer can caught you
Here's my experience:
I'm not gonna tell much on the first parts of the game, some people died but we managed to vote out one of the impostors. One of the crewmates said that they don't see Maroon that much (maybe he was engineer and venting). The Impostor then hid in Comms and disguised into Maroon. They sabotaged Comms and waited. When all of them were in Comms, they tried to kill one of the crewmates, but they were protected by a Guardian Angel. After that they fixed Comms, The Impostor vented. They called a meeting. There were 2 people who weren't there at the time, The Impostor and Maroon. I realized that if they vote out Maroon and he wasn't Impostor, they'll vote the real Impostor. After that they voted Maroon. After the meeting, the Impostor sabotaged the lights and went there first. They disguised as one of the crew (Red) and hid at the top of electrical. Since no one came, they decided to come out elec still disguised. There, they met 2 crewmates. Both of them is not Red. One of them go left (Cyan) and the other go into lights. They killed the one in lights. After waiting a few seconds, they reported the body. They said where the body was and Cyan accuses Red. Then Red accuses Cyan back. After voting, it was a tie. So they fixed lights and Cyan called a meeting. Cyan then said to vote Brown because they didn't see him that entire round, so they voted Brown and he was not Impostor. There were 3 people left. The Impostor, Cyan and Red. The Impostor sabotaged Reactor. Red went to Reactor and Cyan was being chased by The Impostor. But The Impostor managed to kill Cyan and won the game.

A smart move for the shapeshifter would be to just kill someone while your disguised and just next to the corpse, the'll think it's the person your disguised as and frame them, even if their wrong they won't know who the shapeshifter is.

That's not smart. That's a giveaway that it was a shapeshift. Smart would be to kill in secret whether shapeshifted or not. I instantly recognise a shapeshifted kill. It's always in the open and the person killing is not even remotely afraid. It becomes obvious

TylerCoolGuy, horn and Dm are great impostors, but they're not the best in the world. You clearly haven't seen enough youtubers yet. You need to look at ZMDE, Mrbeast, and Ssundee, and then determine whether Horn and Dm are still the best impostors in the world.

You know that was reeeeeeally dangerous what you did at the end. If the Crew you tried to kill would be protected by the Guardian Angel you would've miss your chance to kill and they would you were the impostor because you vented several times I'm front of them thinking you would surely win
I know that, but I was certain the guardian angel would protect lime (as it seemed more likely I'd aim at them) so I waited for some time and killed black. And even if that hadn't worked, I could have closed the doors and waited for my cooldown to go to zero and kill anyone of them. So it was a win-win either way))))

My favorite part is : when u kill purple in electrical while shape shifting into purple, and when lime reports the body he says he saw "blitzo" and when u asked that lime/green dient even say where the body was then they said "electrical, i saw purple kill himself" LOL 😂😂

I have experienced this, *by mistake* Well i was in Nav as *imposter* I, turned off the lights and vented out in admin there was 2 people there as it was the starting of the game. I killed the one person but i was shocked to see that there was other person too. I vented out of there, And i was like "oh they got me" Then.. other person walked in Admin. And they also didn't see the body, maybe cuz it was like under the table (it was covering the body). So when the lights got on and the both people did Their task they were like :-
Pink : it's black!
Black : no, it's pink she was above the body.
Pink : if not him, then me!
Black : no. It's you.
(They first voted black, and as pink said "if not him then me" we voted her out too) That's how i got 2 crew out without killin' lol

Last time I was the shapeshifter it wouldn't let me use the vents or kill anyone 😩 I just ran around sabotaging and shape-shifting and then got caught, but they didn't even vote me out they just asked me to hurry up and kill someone 😂😂 but I didn't know what to do since after like 7-8 minutes I still couldn't kill anyone or use the vents so I just left the game

When I was shape shifter it was 1 imp then I shapes hit into cyan and killed a person in front of a crowd then vented and didn't know it was me so they got framed
