- finally have this switch installed and ready to new llghts! how this video helped you get yours installed!!! can't express how awesome the switch is! also check out what fuse I used to only give the auxbeam power when I need it to, this will keep from killing your battery.
thank you, I had plugged my ACC fuse connection into my radio which keep the power on continuously, now I switched it to the headlight fuse, and I forgot about putting the circuit breaker in, so Thank you for all the good info.
Glad you switched it up probably would have killed your battery, thank you!
Perfect timing with this video, I’m installing mines tomorrow
Wow that’s what up! Let me know if you need anything! Did you buy a switch panel as well?
I actually have a second gen so I’ll need to figure out where I’ll install the controller
@@JuanLopez-to6li awesome!
Thanks for this. Was trying to figure out how to use the bracket.
Glad it was of help!
Great video
Glad it was much help!
Would you suggest unhooking the battery terminals if just doing the switch panel swap on the interior?
I would suggest just turning off the circuit breaker and do the switch if you don’t have one deff unhook battery terminal
Great vid. So the aux panel will only work if the headlights are on correct?
You got it!
So when u start ur truck does da auxbeam come on or do u still have to turn on da headlight?
When I start the truck Auxbeam is off, as soon as I turn on headlights Auxbeam turns on
Question are you lights fully on to turn panel on or is that just the drl lights
Yes lights are fully turned on to light up Auxbeam
Your video was very helpful. I followed every step you did. However I can not for the life of me get the switch panel to power up. Is there anything you did different that isn’t documented?
Everything is on the video , have you checked the fuses? That might be it
I will double check everything. I had to miss something if everything is documented. Thanks for responding
@@glenndekanek4977 hopefully you can get it running let me know, check how much power your light may need and add the appropriate fuse. Let Know ok
Yeah I haven’t got to the light yet, I’m still trying to get the switch panel to light up. I might have the red wires hooked up wrong. Slight rain delay here. I’ll hit you up once i figure out my major malfunction
Everything was connected properly. Power is supplied to the control box. However the 4 pin connector isn’t powering on. Therefore the switch panel won’t light up. Frustrating. I have emailed Auxbeam twice and still waiting for response. Thank you
Very helpful thanks. The soundtrack reminds me of betatrack pornos as a teenager in the early 80s😝
Glad video was of help
