- Leo (formally named Theo) lived in a city and was reportedly out of control. He hated it and was on all types of meds to keep him calm. He's in the perfect situation now. Thank you to Family Dogs New Life Shelter for making this happen!

Kudos to the previous owners for realizing they couldn’t give Theo the environment he needed to thrive in and making the effort to get him into a rescue thereby giving him the chance to have his best life. They didn’t just tie him up somewhere or drop him off like so many irresponsible people do thinking someone will find him and take him in. Mad respect to them for having HIS best interest at heart. I can just see him looking out the windows pulling up going “I cannot WAIT to run in those fields!!!”.
Theo is a great dog. So active and loving he seems to be adapting to the pack. He loves his daddy
Why get such a large, boisterous dog if you live in city? It makes absolutely no sense.
As usual, I agree with Lee. So glad Theo is able to run and play outside with other dogs, instead of medicated in a city. These videos bring so much joy to my heart!
Leo is big and sweet. He doesn't appear hyper active, just young and playful, and he has plenty of energy to burn. Living at the Asher ranch will be a great natural remedy for Leo. Thanks, Lee, you give this beautiful, lovable dog a chance at a good life.

Yep, seems like he was gotten rid of due to standard puppy energy mix that with size and doodle coat, very sad but at least he's in the best place he can possibly be now.

Theo hit the lucky button when his owner gave up on him. Amazing how once the newest dog gets checked out by the pack, they just meld into a very diversified family, accepting of each other and wanting to play together. Too bad we humans can't do the same.
We can when we,re very young, and small. Watch kids in a kindergarten. They assimilate the newbies just like Lee's dogs do. Pity we grow up. 🥴🙄

I’d love love love to see you introduce every single dog and other animals that you have, their names, their favorite thing to do and so on. I love your videos but am always sad that they’re so short :( I could watch the dogs for hours so don’t shy away from making long videos! 😍🥰🐶

Welcome Leo -a Newfipoo! Tommy and his red ball get me every time! Mildred is looking just gorgeous - she's come SOOO far! Yes, some animals need medications just like some people. But many psych meds are given for someone else's convenience. Glad Leo can live his best life.
The sweet Maltese/Poodle mix I adopted last Saturday has found his forever home. He still cries if he can’t see me, but I know he is still getting over his owner passing away. I learned today he did not have separation anxiety with his foster family, so I am wondering since I am older that I remind him of his other mommy. I just know he will never have to worry about a home now! Rescues are wonderful, and grateful! Tobey is mine! 😊….Watching Lee with his rescues validates how much love works with these beautiful creatures! Lee is a blessing! 😊

His job may look fun at first but I'm sure its a lot of work and very emotionally draining. I love that he treats every dog as an individual. To him they are gifts (not burdens). Sending love from across the pond x
he has a team that helps him and the pack dynamic is great so it isnt too stressing but its still a lot of dogs

The other dogs "Oh he's brought home a walking rug!" lol It must be lovely to come out the door and be greeted so enthusiastically when you're a dog left in a shelter. Loved seeing his face in the car as you drove towards your house. I'm sure he was thinking how nice it looked. My dream is to own somewhere with land big enough for some rescue animals. Its highly unlikely to happen with my finances but I won't give up my dream.

That's just Doodle energy!! When my Doodle was 3 - 9ish, I'd do a 5 mile loop run every morning at 6am w/him strapped to my waist. If I didn't he'd have anxiety when I left for work. Amazing the difference when you drain their energy. No meds Required!! Now he's 14.5 yrs old and can barely walk but super chill. Enjoy him, Lee!! Huge amount of grooming involved with those suckers, but well worth it!!!

The world is full of ppl willing to steal smiles away from individuals, Lee is the shining example of someone who literally places smiles on ppls faces. Much love always Lee and friends.

One of the great gifts a pet owner can do for their pet is to know when to let them go, for a better life... kudos to Theo's owner for letting him go, I'm sure it was not a easy decision, but it was the right one for Theo. Leo has a very bright future at The Asher House. ❤️🐾
One can never be lonely in that house. I wish they had nursing homes, or aged homes like this with dogs everywhere that I could go to. I would never be lonely and I would be so happy.

I can certainly understand Theo’s plight. I live in New York City on the same street as a fire house and police station. I hear sirens a couple of times a day. That can certainly be anxious to dogs and humans alike, especially dogs that are rescued from rural/suburban areas and travel to urban areas for adoption. Theo is so stinking ADORABLE!!!
Glad to see a dog off his med and just getting to be a dog! Why would anyone get a dog that big for city living? But he is home now and seems like a really good dog! Also, I spotted the bloodhound in one of the beds just chilling! awesome!
