Joel genuinely tweaking at Vinny's positive impression of the knock-off Snusk is the highlight of this video. Like, every single time Vinny takes another sip of the juice, Joel has this uncontrollable compulsion to pause the video and edit in some kind of insulting image over Vinny just to vent his frustrations.

Salmiak ("salt-licorice") isn't actually licorice, it's ammonium chloride (a considerably simpler chemical compound, which is why it's so reactive and thus has such a strong flavor). So it's not as much "laced by ammonia" as it is LITERALLY MADE FROM AMMONIA. Djungelvrål then takes that a step further by also being coated in a thing we call "inverted sugar", a type of artificial sweetener that also makes things very sour.
Oh yeah and Kaviar isn't fish meat, it's fish eggs (with some added stuff like salt and potato flour). And like Joel says, you're supposed to use it as an accent on mild food, it's way too strong and salty to use as the main ingredient.

How are they supposed to taste? I'm visiting Norway right now and my fiancé said they're amazing and I'd love them. We saw a jam that was just full berries in a container and it tasted foul like rancid fruit. It wasn't sweet at all, reminded me of fermented food and was musky tasting. He said it wasn't very good either, but couldn't explain why other than he was used to the ones he'd eat by his grandparents. It was a weird experience and the first time I tried a fruit I didn't like.

Bit of a translation error from Joel with the Grill chips. He said they were garlic flavored but they're actually onion flavored. In Swedish, garlic is called white onion. I assume that's why he mixed it up.

There is a local style of ramen called "Taiwan ramen" as well as just tons of other food that are Taiwan something that are unrelated to Taiwan (the original ramen was actually made by an immigrant from Taiwan though, but is otherwise not related). Yeah, it's a french idea originally, a simplified snack version of the croissant. Sweden also used to have a local type of baguette called "pain riche" (since it was introduced by a restaurant named Riche) but it's completely fallen out of use by now.
I was about to type a comment about how Wasa knäcker is actually finnish translated, but after googling apparently its not (the company making them in finland is called vaasa, but theyre a whole different company)

Joel as someone from the UK I’m learning that we have (except for the more national products like Caviar toothpaste) pretty much the exact same products here, just branded differently! For example our jam filed biscuits are called “Jammy Dodgers” .. we do have the same Rolo’s - and a lot of the other sweets I recognised under different brand names (though a lot have been saturated into just store brand products now like Tesco).
I just ordered a bottle of ‘Ass Reaper’ sauce from Amazon and I’ll let you know how much it blasts open my ass hole in due course.
