The best thing about these videos is that the duendes are just tiny and entirely non threatening guys, but whenever someone in these videos sees them, they start throwing up and screaming and crying on the floor.
When the duendes find you, I'm sure you would not be mortified by their "double deck the toilet" prank. They got me once already.
If you saw something that appeared human but couldn't possibly be human you'd start losing sanity too. Humans clearly have a built in fear of almost human looking things likely because we encountered other human species and we saw them as threats.

So the correct way to respond to a Duende sighting is to either collapse sobbing and/or projectile vomit.
Those are the best ways to keep a duende away either make it feel pitty by crying or projectile vomit at it and hope the force of the puke sends it flying

To be fair, most duendes don't fly.
In Ukraine we have stories about chupacabra appearing in all sorts of villages. Yes, THE chupacabra from Mexico.
Long story short: some villagers thought that their eaten by wolves hen and goats were killed by chupacabra and told the story to one of the biggest tv channels "1+1".
And since first appearance in Ukrainian news in late 90s it's regularly shows up as "Ukrainian chupacabra".

i actually watched this with my sis like YEARS ago, i remember we were dying of laughter and wiping tears off of our faces and re-watching it like a dozen times. It was a really long lasting inside joke for us. AND NOW WE FOUND IT AGAIN. Thanks uncle jobel for making us re-experience this again after so long that we forgot about it.

I remember when I was a kid, there was a tv show in my country called Sin Vergüenza where they watched CZcams videos , they had a section of creepy videos of ghosts or duendes, all of the duendes videos where about kids playing football.
One time they were invited to a house where there was supposedly duendes, as evidence the house owners showed a box with flour and little feet marks with pieces of candy scattered all over the floor, it was the stupidest shit I ever saw and even the tv hosts admitted that they had nothing else to show on the time the had left so they accepted an invitation from a fan of the show
I remember too that I sent a video of a "ghost" but it didn't have anything unusual, i just wanted to be in the show, the guy on charge of the creepy section insisted that there was a ghost on one part of my video but all the other guys didn't buy it and fucking mocked the shit out of the guy for the rest of the episode, I was laughing the whole time with my friend

Because in Spanish we don't know the difference between elves, dwarfs, goblins or gnomes, we call them all "duendes", even though we do have words for each one of those: elf (elfo), dwarf (enano), goblin (duende) and gnome (gnomo), we are just too lazy to remember those words, so we use the goblin one.
