Everyone seems to have forgotten Duchess Satin Kryze, you know... Bo-Katan's sister who was actually the rightful ruler of Mandalore, who wanted peace and make Mandalore a peaceful society (big mistake). Bo-Katan actively worked to over-throw her own sister and played a big part in her death. Massive amounts of hypocrisy on the part of Bo-Katan.
Satine had it coming for being naive to dismissed the threat of deathwatch. It took Jango's Clone's who is a True Mandalorian to defeat Deathwatch which Satine and the rest of Mandalore doesn't recognized as a Mandalorian due to being a foundling.
The idea of pacifists taking over mandalore has always been ridiculous to me. Their plan was to go up against a culture of born and bred warriors with pacifism?! How did they even win that fight? Putting that arc in the clone wars show on Mandalore made absolutely no sense
eughh they need a Great Hunt to resolve leadership issues.
I’ve always hated Bo Katan. She constantly blamed and guilted others for actions she took part in (or straight up caused) instead of reflecting on herself. And like fine she’s young in Clone Wars so she gets away with it, but then she’s still self righteous in the final arc, she’s slightly better in rebels but never actually admits her own faults, and then its the same problem all over again in the Mandolarian (I also don’t get why she just took the dark saber from Sabine when offered it but refused to take it from Din in the same situation).
@@wardenprincess2257 because they weren’t a culture of born and bred warriors. Like they never wore. Traditionally they were a culture that focused on raising warriors and combat. However it had been centuries since the glory days of mandolore and those ideas largely faded into fanaticism. It makes quite a bit of since. Warrior cultures are often the most critical of past actions which id why you have new minded thinkers turning against belief systems they find to be barbaric and outdated. Satine was largely loved as a ruler because she ushered Mandolore into a new age where merit wasn’t purely decided on one’s strength as a warrior (which for common citizens meant a lot) and where everyone was allowed to pursue more activities such as the arts. However this created a huge disparagement concerning traditional beliefs and said fanatics didn’t take kindly to her which eventually led to her being overthrown. What’s ironic is that Mandolore has been in s state of pure chaos and/or ruled by non-Mandolorians (Maul then the Empire) ever since. Satine’s political pacifism and strength in politics was when Mandolore was at its strongest.
You could slowly see the contrast between the Children of the Watch and the Death Watch and see why Bo Katan seems to be coming around. The Children might be fractured before as she claimed, they maintained their identity through their beliefs and traditions and more importantly their purpose, which brought them together after the purge and formed mini-communities. The Death Watch, viewing those traditions as superstition, slowly broke apart overtime because there is no one to lead them and are now scattered bands of mercenaries traveling without purpose
The children of the watch descend from the deathwatch.
This scene was missing maybe a dozen empty bottles on the floor and Bo missing her left greave.
I honestly don't get it....
@@TheFilthyFinch Their joke is that in this episode she's cynically 'lost in the sauce' after losing the Darksaber...aka that she would turn to getting drunk and partying in lieu of warrior/leadership stuff.
@orangeapples would’ve been cool to see Bo Katan looking a bit more disheveled and armor-less
She blames the children of the watch cult but yet did she forget she was apart of Death watch a terrorist organization plotting to kill her own sister the ruler of mandolore and take back mandolore
I don't think she would've allowed Satine to be killed if it came to it.

Her character is so inconsistent I swear. This season is entertaining to some degree but the writing is pretty bad
@@ichangedmyusernamebecausei2551 she isn't inconsidtent she was pretty full of herself, and often a hypocrite, even her actress said that Bo-Katan is a difficult character with ego problems. This season is meant to bring her redemption.

They didn’t have to make her so unbelievably sexy in this scene.
Just her sitting there composed n relaxed, almost reminded me of Sharon Stone's character in Basic Instinct where the way they sit and behave represents their thinking and have it displayed to show off their personality and demeanour.

In all the time since Din's cult actually intervened, while they sat on their asses, Sabine did her part in making a stand to the Empire with Mandalorians and the Rebellion, long before Din and his CULT did.

While she blames the fracture of the clans, she forgets the three rules that kept them unified despite their differences in beliefs excluding the rule of the Dark Saber
It’s not like she follows any of those rules.

@@Mandalorian_Goblinslayer narratively speaking, it's obvious he will become the new Mandalor. His faith, his patriotism and his leadership skills are water clear. All of this is happening in his show for a reason. This is a show called THE Mandalorian, and his character development is crazy to see. He is humble, caring and doesn't show any power hunger signs at all. He's perfect to be the new Mandalor and I'm so excited to see how all of this will happen.

Such a sick thrown room
It takes a special kind of person to get up in the morning, put on a full suit of armor, and just spend the day sitting on a throne in their castle wallowing in self pity.
Either that or Bo Katan just got there and decided to take a load off moments before Din Djarin arrived.
Katee Sackhoff said Bo-Katan was probably wallowing in self-pity in another room without her armor when Din Djarin came into the airspace. She hurriedly put her armor on to receive him in the throne room.

I figured we would see them again at some point and I was right.
They left because Bo didn't get the darksaber back and they didn't want to listen to her whining anymore.

The time jumps between Season 2 -> Book of Boba -> Season 3 could have been fleshed out better, imho. Some characters act like no time has passed and others more like it has actually taken a year between each

I'm pretty sure it's supposed to be whoever has the helmet of Mandalore rules, being the previous Mandalore of course. The darksaber is a neat thing they added in during clone wars that should have stayed that way honestly.
CW established the darksaber before Disney acquired it. This season was written by Jon Favreau who had been with Star Wars before Disney. They had no role in writing the stories, only Jon Favreau.
The scene is good but at the same time she takes no accountability for what she did during the Clone wars. In this poor sap is just a product of what he was given as a child.
So all she's doing is just hanging out?
Honestly I don't feel bad for her all this happened because of her *Revolution* when she over threw her sister government. Now she's sitting here lonely because she had nobody left.

So the genocidal, kins-slayer, terrorist betrayer who caused her own sister's death so her boyfriend could get in charge, who later on betrayed her own creed because she didn't like Maul winning the throne by following said creed AND brought the clone invasion on Mandalore to cease power back... Just to lose it all and cause an entire civil war on Mandalore which ended with the planet glassed and her people scattered everywhere because none wanted to follow such a shitty leader...

She's a great character. In the real world, leaders throughout history were flawed people. some even did nefarious things to rule but were still considered great. Lookup British history. This stays true to how people really are.

She chastises him for being a religious extremist because he was brought up with the 'don't take your helmet off' credo.
yet she refuses to take the dark saber when he gives it to her, because the religion demands it to be taken in combat.
he yields to her in an attempt to satisfy her 'religion' offering it again, yet it's not enough for her.
Power is wielded by people who take it, not by myth and superstition alone. Rulers employ myth and superstition and yield it to justify their leadership, what does it matter that the 10 people still alive on that ship would know she didn't win the sword in deadly combat, she has a planet to liberate.
But no the religion is suddenly important again and now she's sulking in a castle on an abandoned planet.
Bo Katan is a hypocrite worthy of a jedi title.

Lazy, alone, depressed, slouched. Never could've imagined this considering how she was portrayed in CW and Rebels. The only thing in the way is that she doesn't rightfully own the Darksaber, but in CW and Rebels the Mandalorians did not care anywhere near the degree they did in The Mandalorian! It was literally just a symbol. Oh, the inconsistencies.
Back then they still had their planet. Of course they're a lot more superstitious now.

Bo Kataan is such a girl boss. She totally took over the mandatorily show and mando became a supporting charcter in his own franchise, can't wait for Bo to get her own series, time for the WOMANDALORIAN.
Also a young Admiral Holdo should introduced into Andor and give her series. She could start off as a young proffessor and lgbtq activist at the Alderan Liberal Arts College teaching Gender Studies before joining the rebellion against the racist sexist transphobic empire.
