I am in Canada too (Québec) and I live in a suburb and while I plan to get a milk cow (or 2😆) in the future, it is not a possibility right now. However I would love to get raw milk and it is so complicated in Canada! Anybody from Quebec willing to sell some? 😭
Do you feel cows need a friend? (Calf, other cow, goat, etc.)
I think they really do appreciate a friend. They're herd animals. Why fight it? You could be feeding your piggies skim and whey right now...

I always freeze my mozzarella before grating.
Interesting! I find chilled but not frozen easiest to grate.
@@VenisonforDinner I agree. I usually end up feeling close to frost bitten, but at least it shreds. 😂 Maybe if I chilled it in smaller chunks...
So when you are able to feel the calf when bumping, about how far out is calving?
Cow is bout 7 months along at that point
After having a calf how long will the jersey milk cow produce milk?
On average a lactation lasts 10 months
What is the rope method?
I would suggest you search it online as then you will get a few videos and descriptions. And then look at the price of a kickbar too!
